Chapter 22

Michael's pov

I left the teacher's study and headed to my classroom. It was another monday morning and the students were already rolling in the doors.

What was a vampire doing in a werewolf populated school you ask?

I had talked to Mason, this area's Alpha, and as the school is a neutral zone he would ignore my presence as long as I didn't get in his way. Or his pack.

Apart from the annoyingly rude attitude of his and the way he expected me to respect him, I had no quarrel with him or his pack. And learning who I was his attitude changed and I was shown the respect my status deserve.

So I teach, and the werewolves don't know what I am, except the alpha's son and his warriors.

I can't stand the thought of not working. not because I need the money but because I enjoy it. I have my own firm and I'm well established.

I walked the hall and this unique scent it was a raspberry, rainforest scent. it was delightful and I found it distracting. That made me frown. I had been trained by the best, and some silly perfume got me distracted? No bloody way. I continued making my way to my classroom, with more determination in my steps.

I walked into the classroom and sat down at my desk.

Then I recognized the scent, which made me come to a full stop. The new girl was the owner of this mouth watery scent. And she was a wolf. Low rank but a wolf none the less.

Did I just call a mutt's scent mouth watery? It was very good, there was no denying that, even though I'd never admit that out loud. Why didn't she smell like the way all mutts do, like a wet dog?

I found her mere presence frustrating and it affected my teaching. It was when I realized that I felt the need to do something about it.

I had years of training, learning self control so I could be around humans without being a danger like most vampires, i also had training that included dangerous bloody situation. Yet this girl got under my skin for some unknown reason.
