Victoria's pov

This so wasn't what I had in mind. I needed to focus on getting my pack back. Not this... I mean really?

This was Mason's condition for letting me join the pack without punishment for trespassing. Like it was that big a deal? Yeah I trespassed, and yeah I kicked his sons beta, Tristans sorry ass, but I helped save Chase's mate... That has to count for something right?

Apparently not.

So here I was. High School...Again. I let out another heavy sigh.

"Don't like school?" Chase asked, standing next to me. Lillian Next to him. Becky was a year older than myself so she had already graduated last year the traitor. I was on my own.

"This isn't really how I planned on spending my time is all" I said not wanting to sound whiny.

"It's not gonna be that bad, I'm sure you'll love it" Lillian, Chase's mate smiled, trying to cheer me up.

She was sweet like that. She was the total opposite of Chase in every way. Where Chase turned Angry or aggressive, She turned peaceful and calm. She was the only person that could stop Chase from going all huffy and puffy. She was really sweet and wouldn't even hurt a fly.

It was so hilarious yesterday when she scolded Chase. What a sight.

Flashback

"You Dare touch My mate!" Chase growled, at the poor guy. He was shivering, terrified of Chase.

Everyone was gathering around, some of the bigger guys was ready to step in if Chase snapped. Others were just looking for a good fight.

"I'll kill you if you even look at her again, You hear me!" Chase growled.

"You will do no such thing!" She said stepping in front of the poor guy, on the floor.

"You're protecting him" Chase growled.

"I'm protecting a pack member yes" She answered, not a sign of fear in her voice.

"You will calm down right now, or you're sleeping on the couch for a week, am I making myself clear?!" She said in a calm, yet slightly raised voice.
