Victoria Pov

We were running in our wolf form. Me, dad and mom. Logan didn't wanna come. It's not often we get to run together like this so it's really fun. Becca came with us to. Danny had homework. Becca's father was working, tracking some rogues that had been on our land.

We where all tired after we had been playing tag for so long. Becca had lied down and was fallen asleep. I was Laying next to her, just relaxing in the sun. So was mom and dad.

I looked at the blue sky just watching the clouds fly by, when I noticed it.

"Hey dad- did mom make dinner by any chance?" I asked through the mind-link, mom looked at me confused at my question.

"Why?" He asked.

"Cause I see smoke" I smiling a wolfy grin.

"I resent that!" Mom huffed. "I'm not that bad" She complained.

Dad laughed. "Yes you are my dear, but we love you just the same" He said nuzzling her fur. They are so cute. I can't wait till I find my mate. But I had this bad feeling as the smoke cloud grew bigger.

"No, seriously there is smoke, and it's coming from the house" I said, Shit what is going on?

"What!" Dad and mom said at the same time and ran at the direction of the house.

"Come on" I yelled to Becca and we ran after them. Because I had to wake Becca we were far behind, but that didn't matter. They would fix the problem and explain when we got there.

"Tori, there is vampires up ahead" Becca said. My senses might be better since I'm alpha, but when it came to her tracking skills I couldn't compare, she was a born hunter.

When we got close, I smelled this heavy dead scent, with a hint of flowers. Vampires!

"Fuck!" I growled.

"What the hell is going on? Why are they here!" Becca said, panic in her voice.

"I don't know, but we have to find my parent"

"I need to find my dad" Becca whined scared.

"your father is probably with them. Come on"

A vampire stood in front of us with a sadistic smile on him face, following my instincts I lunged at him, snarling and ripped his head off. I didn't have time to think, I acted. We continued killing two more vampires along the way.

We followed their scent to the pack house and found, something we didn't want to see. Dead pack members on the ground, men, women and children. At least 15 people on the ground, not all where wolves from our pack, a few where rouges. Vampires and rogues? What is going on? I felt Becca's fear.

"Becca listen to me, everything is going to be okay, just stay close" She followed my command.

Shaking of her fear, and going into survival mode. "Your right" She nodded.

We ran into the pack house which was open, but there was no one here, their was to much blood in the air to catch their scent. I growled. "Becca, Can you find them?" "They ran inside, they should be here somewhere" She said. We ran into the kitchen, where we found something we didn't want to see.
