Chapter 9

Victoria's POV

I woke up and slowly my memories came back, I sighed. I wasn't going to let myself go down that trail of thoughts. I needed to focus on my plan. My plan? It was a work in process... Guess I would need to get to Mason's pack, then I'd need to get an audience with him. Then find Becky. Not a very detailed plan but still a plan.

I ran my hands threw my hair and stood up. I went over to the bathroom and did my morning routine, brushing my teeth, fixing my make up and hair. Then more awake then before I packed my stuff in my bag. I needed to be ready to leave but I wasn't leaving just yet.

No first I wanted to get some food, then I wanted to get a bus ticket out of here. Yes a bus. There isn't always a forest to run in town to town. Stupid humans build cities everywhere and no nature to run in. So Bus was the easiest way to Mason's pack.

Deciding that was the best way to go, I put on my low boots, picked up my bag and left the room. I gave the room key to the guy behind the desk and said goodbye. The old man smiled, said have a nice day, hope you enjoyed your stay. I had given him a smile before I left. I went over to Sue's diner and ordered some breakfast.

The woman smiled at me asked me what I wanted and told me it would be ready in a sec. I sighed. I looked at my new phone, don't know why, no one had my new number, guess it's just a habit. The lady came with my food and I thanked her before eating in a hurry. I wanted to get out of here before I could get myself into more trouble.

It was lunch time, I could tell cause of the huge clock tower. The door opened and two werewolves came in. Fuck! I had forgotten to mask my scent. They walked over to me.

I quickly, masked my scent, so I was nothing more then a low rank werewolf, knowing my scent already busted me, I couldn't get away from this without either doing what they wanted or fight.

They sat down in my booth. "Rogue" The brown haired one snarled. "What are you doing on our land?"

I smiled sweetly, "Eating, can't you tell" I said, innocently. I couldn't help myself. I know I should probably be scared in this situation. But looking at the two guys in front of me, normal pack members who looked more unsure about the situation then I was, I wanted to laugh not run and hide.

"You don't have permission to be here, you need to follow us" The other one said, I could feel power from him. He had high rank power in his blood line was easy to tell, but he was lower then the third. Brown haired guy spoke again.

"You have to choices. Follow or die" I was impressed by how he handled the situation. If he had been in my pack I would be praising him for doing a good job, but that wasn't the reaction the wanted from me. So instead I focused on what he had said. Smiling to myself for wanting to push their buttons.

"Actually I have a lot more choices then that" I smiled drinking my water before speaking again. He raised a brow but waited.

"I can try to run, maybe successful, maybe not-" They growled, and I smiled "Chill, I wont, so relax. I will follow you to your alpha and speak with him. Just making a point"

I stood up and they jumped on their feet in a hurry ready to stop me. I chuckled. "I thought we were going to your alpha? I can't imagine him coming here to meet me" I said. They stopped looking so tense, but looked at me with a frown.
