"Hey (y/n), it's Cassie. Where've your been? Nobody's seen you for days. We're all worried abou-" the message was cut off as (y/n) clicked the delete message button on his phone.

(Y/n) hadn't bothered to show up to school since his mother had been arrested. He spent most of his time planning how to get back at the two spiders who arrested her. He also spent a decent amount of time every day visiting his mom in prison.

(Y/n) sighed, yesterday his mother had asked him to keep going to school, she had said that she wanted him to have a real life as well as what he already had going. (Y/n) picked up his backpack before heading towards the elevator.

Half an hour later

(Y/n) quickly parked the car before getting out. He made his way into the building silently. He could feel everybody's eyes on him, they all wanted to know where he had disappeared to for the past two weeks.

"(Y/n)!" Said boy turned only to see Cassie as she quickly force him into a hug. "I missed you"

"I'm not in a good mood right now Cassie" (y/n) said as he pulled her off of him. "So stay out of my way" he said as he let go of her and walked off towards his first class.

"B-but" Cassie stuttered as she watched the boy walk off. "I missed you..."

Lunch time

Cassie sighed as she watched (y/n) sit alone at a table across the lunch room.

"You still staring at (y/n)?" America asked as she sat down across from Cassie.

"She's been staring at him for the past ten minutes" Billy said with a sigh.

"He hasn't talked to anyone for weeks and now even in school he won't talk to anyone! Even me!" Cassie groaned as she lowered her head and hit it against the table.

"He's probably just upset still" America said with a sigh before starting to eat her food. "I would be too if I were him"

"Upset about what?" Cassie quickly asked as she raised her head.

America just looked at the girl like she was an idiot. "Do you not pay attention to the news?" Billy asked. Cassie just replied by shaking her head. "His mother was arrested, she's the black cat" Cassies eyes widened at hearing this. "It gets worse. (Y/n) doesn't have a father so now he's all alone"

Cassie looked down at the table. "I feel horrible. I didn't know"

"Well here's your chance then" America said as she turned around to look at (y/n). The boy was quietly eating his lunch while trying to avoid attention. "Go cheer him up. Whether he knows it or not that's exactly what he needs right now"

Cassie nodded with a smile. "I will!" She said happily before standing up. She quickly walked over to (y/n)'s table and sat down across from him.

"What part of stay out of my way did you not understand?" (Y/n) asked as he looked up at Cassie with a glare.

"I just wanted to say that I heard about what happened and I'm really sorry" Cassie replied quietly as she looked down at the table. "But I also wanted to invite you to have a movie night with me, I really just want to see you happy again"

"Cassie I'm not just going to be happy again all of a sudden!" (Y/n) exclaimed as he slammed his fist onto the table.

"We can watch Winnie the Pooh and Star Wars all night! A sleepover!" Cassie offered with a kind smile.

"...fine..." (y/n) said quietly as he looked away. "But there better be snacks"

"Of course!"

After school

(Y/n) parked in front of cassies house. He had gone back home and gotten a bag full of stuff he'd need for the night. He got out of the car with his bag before walking up to the door. Just as he was about to knock on the door Cassie opened it. "I'm glad you really came" she said with a smile as she hugged the boy.

"I'm still not in the mood for hugs" (y/n) said as he forced her off of him.

"Well you will be after we watch Winnie the Pooh!" Cassie said excitedly before leading the boy inside. "Because how could you not be in the mood after that?"

"That logic seems sound enough" (y/n) said with a shrug before following Cassie. Cassie lead them through the house until they reached her room.

"This is it" she said happily before heading inside.

"Cassie if you wanted to get me into bed with you all you had to do was ask" (y/n) said with a smirk as he sat down on the bed.

"Yay! There's the (y/n) I know!" Cassie squealed before jumping onto the bed and hugging the boy as she used the tv remote to turn on the tv and the movie. This time (y/n) begrudgingly let her keep hugging him.

The next morning

(Y/n) yawned as he woke up. He tried to sit up before noticing that Cassie was laying on top of him. He decided to just keep laying there so that he wouldn't wake her up.

A few minutes later Cassie yawned as she woke up. "Good morning" (y/n) said as he looked down at her.

"Good morning" Cassie replied as she yawned again before opening her eyes and realizing that she was laying on him. She quickly got up and off of him. "We didn't... you know. Did we?"

"No we didn't" (y/n) replied with a laugh. "Nothing happened"

"Alright" Cassie replied with a nod. She sounded reassured but also disappointed.

"Maybe next time though" (y/n) said as he got up and slapped her ass causing her to jump. "If you're lucky"

"Yeah you wish" Cassie replied with a smirk.

"Playing hard to get now Huh?" (Y/n) asked with a smirk. "You should know that that'll only make me more interested" (y/n) said as he moved closer to Cassie so that they were face to face.

"Maybe that's why I'm doing it" she responded with a smirk.

"In that case you won't mind this then" (y/n) replied before kissing Cassie.
