Part 40.

The day was great. Alex and I took Mark to the mall first. It was a bit new to us that we had a guard that followed us. It was something to get used to from now on.

We went into a couple stores, Mark got excited when he saw the VR station, people were trying. He got me and Alex to try it and it was actually pretty cool.

After that we decided we were all hungry and made our way to the restaurant in the mall, Alex and I, hadn't tried when we came here last.

The restaurant was nice and worth the wait. We discussed what would happen with the podcast and how Mark would leave and return to work after the LA shows.

"So Mark, how did you like going to the dance studio with the guys?" Alex asked.

"It was fun. I learned some of the choreo to a new dance they're doing."

"Did you film it?" I said.

He shook his head. "I couldn't, since it was new choreo. But I filmed us dancing to Fake Love."

He got out his phone and showed us. It was him, Jungkook, Tae, Hoseok, and Jin. I was amazed at how good he was at keeping in sync with the guys since he had just learned the dance.

"Wow Mark. You're a great dancer." I say.

"You should consider applying as a back up dancer for them." Alex said.

He shook his head at the compliments.

"I couldn't even imagine myself dancing with them up on that stage. Besides, I'm not majoring in dance. I'm a computer guy."

"You aren't giving yourself enough credit Mark." I say and Alex agreed with me.

"Thanks guys." He smiled and we continued to eat.

Once we finished eating, we asked for the check. As we were waiting, I looked out the window that showed the stores and people of the mall. A black and white sign caught my eye.

"Hey, one more store then we leave?" I say.

They both nodded. We paid and left the restaurant. I lead them to the store.

"Tiffany's? Really?" Alex said.

"Yeah. Wouldn't hurt to look right?"

They shrugged and followed me in. We looked around and I made my way to the ring section. I browsed and a ring caught my eye.

It was a silver ring with black titanium rope in the middle. A name popped in my head as I looked at it.

"Hello. Miss. Can I help you with something?" The worker asked.

"Yes I would like that ring please in size XZ."

"Would you like it wrapped?"

"No that's fine."

She nodded. I gave her my card, paid and, started packing up the ring. I felt my phone vibrate and checked it. It was Kevin.

Kev: Okay so don't be mad. I caught my flight and I just landed.

Me: What the hell?! Where are you??

Kev: Incheon...

Me: How could you not tell me??

Kev: I mixed up the time difference and calculated wrong.

Me: Okay fine just wait. I'll be there in maybe half an hour.

Kev: Cool I'll wait.

Me: Where else would you go?

Kev: HA! you're funny.

I turn off my phone and place it back into my pocket.

"Here you go miss. Have a great rest of your day." She says.

"Thank you so much. You too."

I find Mark and Alex and tell them about my brother then we head to the car. I let the driver know to take us to Incheon airport so we could pick him up. I decide to get out my phone and text Joon.

Me: Hey what are you doing?

'Hopefully he isn't in the metting still.'

Joon: Just got to the studio site. What about you?"

Me: So my brother got his flight information wrong and he just landed. We are on the way to pick him up.

Joon: Oh Okay. Great.

Me: Don't be nervous. I promise he won't grill you.

Joon: Okay lol Me and guys won't be home until maybe 10. Here's the pass code to the door #######

Me: Thank you! Don't forget to eat and message me when you guys are on your way

Joon: I will

We get to the airport and I decide to get off with the guard following me, as the driver stayed with Alex and Mark. Kevin texted me that he was waiting at the exit.

I walk towards where people are waiting for passengers to exit. I spot Kevin sitting on his luggage, looking down at his phone. I sneak up behind him.

"You know there are seats right there, right?" I say as he jumps.

"Hey!" He gives me a tight hug. He lets go and reaches into his bag.

"Mom packed me some of her muffins. I figured we could give them to the guys since you probably ate yours on the drive home when you left the house."

"I did not...I gave maybe two or three to Alex." I admitted.

"Yeah sure." He laughs.

I shake my head. "Come on. Let's go."

"So where are we headed?" He asks as we head to the car.

" To the dorm. You and Mark are sharing a room."

The guard puts Kevin's luggage in the back and I open the door for Kevin as he hops in.

"What about you and Alex?" He asks while putting his seat belt on.

"We're staying in other rooms." I close his door and walk to the other side of the car to et in.

I settle in and tell the driver to head to the dorm.

"What do you mean 'rooms'?" Kevin turned towards me and I turned to Alex for help, which was useless because she shook her head and put her ear buds in.

'So much for the help'

I turn to Kevin and show a straight smile.

"In your words, Okay so don't get mad, but um, I thought about the arrangement before I said yes and the arrangement was that I stay in his room with him."

He just stared at me and stayed silent.

"Kevin?"
