Part 23.

Y/N'S P.O.V

After the long hot shower and Alex's amazing breakfast, we went to the station to pick up the equipment Mark got us, that we needed to travel with.

"How are you feeling?" Alex asked.

She didn't look at me since she was driving.

"I'm better. I think I just needed to let it out." I said.

She nodded. "I hope Mark doesn't go all geek on us. I can't understand a single word he says when he gets excited." She laughs.

I laugh. "He gets all giddy and happy. It's like Christmas to him."

We talked and laughed till we arrived at the station.

We get out and head into the office to go straight to the conference room where Mark is. We open the door to see him with his headphones on while singing and dancing. Obviously he doesn't see us until we step into his view.

"Oh! Hey guys." He says.

I giggle. "Hey Mark. Is this everything?"

I point to what seems like three laptops, two microphones, three pairs of headphones, a medium sized soundboard and a bunch of cords.

"Yes. So one laptop for you and one for Miss Alex. Your laptop is equipped with the same system you use on the desktop in the studio. Miss Alex, your laptop is equipped with a layout to oversee the live podcast. The third laptop is for the producer. The soundboard has everything you need and I got one that includes your sound buttons. And of course the headphones and microphones."

I got out my phone to take a picture and send it to my brother while Alex asked Mark a couple of questions.

Me: [Picture]  Got everything for the podcast! 

Bro: Awesome! What system are we using?

"Mark, what system are we using?" I asked as I look up from my phone.

"Oh that's gonna be N.M.D13. It's a new system. It works better than our usual system here."

"Hm, thanks." I say.

Me: N.M.D13

Bro: I don't think I've used that system before. I'd have to research and get familiar with it. You know my process sis, it'll probably take me more than a few days."

I look up to see Alex exploring her laptop.

"Alex, Kev doesn't know how to use the system. He said it'll probably take him more than few days to get familiar with it."

"Y/n, we don't have a few days. We're supposed to interview each of the members before the tour starts."

I was about to text Kevin back until Mark spoke up.

"I know how to use the system." He says with his hand slightly up as if he was going to raise it.

I look at Alex as if we're talking telepathically, then looked back to Mark.

"How well do you know the system?" Alex asked.

"Pretty well. My professor used this system to teach us." He said.

Alex looks at me with her eyebrow raised.

"You think he'll let us take one more?" She said to me.

"I can run it by him and he can ask but Bang said I could take who I need."

"We'd have to tell him if he's going."

I nod and look back to Mark who has no clue what we're talking about.
