When they walked into the cafe, I noticed Joon's mom looked around and quickly spotted us.

She instantly tapped her husband on the shoulder and made her way to us.

We quickly stood up to greet them.

The first thing she did was tightly hug Joon. I noticed he bent down a bit to reach her level.

She looked over his shoulder and noticed me.

She gasped.

"Ah! You must be Y/n! It's so nice to finally meet you! You are even more beautiful in person than what my son has told me!"

I blushed at her comment.

I bowed to her.

"Ah, thank you Mrs.Kim. I-it's nice to finally meet you too."

"Oh please. Call me, Eommoni. You're practically family, Sweetie."

"Oh look at the girl, Honey. She's a flustered mess. Excuse my wife, she's very excited."

I smile and bow to Joon's father.

"It's no problem at all. It's nice to meet you, Mr.Kim."

"And you." He bowed back.

"Y/n. This is my younger sister. Kim Naeyoung."

He guided me to where she stood.

They both had similar features, which I found cute.

"Hi, it's nice to meet you. Joon's told me so much about you."

"You too. Sorry if Mom is all over you. It's the first time Joon has brought someone to meet us."

"Oh kay. That's enough out of you. Sit."

He ushered her to sit down. She teased him with smirk.

"So Y/n. How old are you?"  His father asked.

"I'm 24."

"What is your family like?"

"My parents live in LA. My mother is a nurse and my father owns a car shop. My older brother, also co-owns his own Tech Company. He will be meeting us in a bit, as well."

"Oh that's so nice that he is traveling with you. I know it must have been hard to leave your home."  His mom said.

I nodded.

"It was but my work allows me to travel some of the time too. I'm some what used to it."

The waitress came over and took our orders. I fidgeted a little and tilted my head a bit so she wouldn't fully see my face.

Joon had his hat on and didn't make eye contact with her but bowed to her to be polite.

Once she left, he readjusted his hat to reveal his face to his family.

"It's so awkward when you do that." Naeyoung said.

Joon shrugs.

"Better than having dozens of people waiting outside for us."

"Us?" She asked confused.

Joon smiles.

"I guess Joon hasn't told you what my job is."

"He mentioned that you were in the media industry." Mr.Kim said.

"I am. I run my own radio show. I'm famous for interviewing Korean/K-pop artists and groups. I'm kind of well known."
