Part 30.

As soon as I hear the lady say we could go up, I instinctively slip my hand into Joon's and wrap my arm around his.

Of course he feels my actions and looks slightly down at me to give me a reassuring dimpled smile and a small kiss on the forehead, as we walk towards the elevators.

"Everything is gonna be fine." He whispered to me.

I nod my head.

We all get into the elevator. The lady steps in, noticing our hands and how I'm clinging to Joon. She looks at our hands and to me and gives a "polite" smile then turns around to face the doors and presses the 6th floor button.

I look around to the others to see if they noticed her little reaction. Mark was on his phone. Jimin and Alex were talking to each other. Once I look up at Joon, he has this slightly irritated look on his face.

'He must have seen her.'

I rub his arm to calm him. Without looking at me, he let's go of my hand and wraps his arm around me, reconnecting our hands in front of me. I lean my head into his chest.

The elevator stops and the doors open on the ding. Everyone gets out and Joon and I weren't far behind. I was about to walk towards the office when I'm stopped and held by Joon. I look at him confusingly. I was about to say something but he does first but not to me.

He turns to look at the lady. He smiles.

"Miss Koo," he starts off.

Everyone stops walking, noticing he's talking.

"You weren't sly. This is a warning. Mr. Bang will hear about your action. If there is a next time,... you're fired."

Her face drops.

"Have a nice rest of your day." Joon says as he guides me forward.

All I see if her shocked face before the doors close.

I try not to smile so big when we walk towards everyone.

Mark is nodding in approval.

"Good catch Y/n. Don't loose him."

"I don't plan to." I say.

Alex playfully hits Jimin.

"Why didn't you say anything?" She says.

"Ow. I wasn't even paying attention to her. I would've, if she did something towards you."

Alex crossed her arms.

"How? If you weren't paying attention."

"I got distracted." He said.

"By what?"

"My gorgeous girlfriend." He says as he gets closer to her and takes her hand.

Alex is caught off guard and her face turns red. She tries to play it off by rolling her eyes and playfully pushing Jimin away.

He teasingly laughs.

"Whatever. Let's go." She says.

Jimin leads us towards a conference room other than an office. He knocks to be sure we're at the right one.

"Come in."

Jimin opens the door and let's us go first. Joon moves his arm from around me and on over to my shoulders which he let's go when walk into the room.

Sitting at the head of the table was Mr. Bang and to his right was Manager Sejin.

'How did he get here so fast?'
