"Under the pouring rain"

Jimin sat down beside Taehyung who was munching potato chips.

"I want you"

He recalls Taehyung's words and he immediately turned red. What does he mean by that? Jimin wanted to make him elaborate the statement but him being stupid, pretended not to hear. He is such an embarrassment. Also, he was supposed to ask him about how his encounter with Ji-won went but in the end, he couldn't.

"Hey Jimin!"

He snapped out of his thoughts and looked at Taehyung.

"You okay? I've been talking to you but you weren't responding." Taehyung says.

"Ah... Yeah sorry just thinking, but i'm fine--" Jimin assures smiling a bit.

Taehyung hums, "Then wanna go for a walk?"

Jimin's face lightened up, "Yes!"

Taehyung nods, "Let's head out then."

"I want ice cream." Jimin requested with a pout.

Taehyung smiled fondly, "Sure baby. Wait here." He says before jogging towards a seven eleven store.

Jimin was never spoiled this way before and he must admit he's enjoying it. They went to the park earlier, they were pretty much engrossed in the conversation they didn't notice the sun was setting already.

He was happy.

Some part of him feels bad though. However, he doesn't want to ponder about it.

He saw Taehyung walking towards him with two packs of melona. "Thanks!" Jimin chirped before opening the ice cream. Taehyung motioned for them to start walking home.

"Aren't you gonna ask me?"

Jimin looked at him uncertainly, "Ask what?"

"About Ji-won." Taehyung says, carefully studying Jimin's reaction.

"If you don't want to--"

"No. If you wanna ask then ask. I will tell you, whatever it is. Ask me how my day went I won't mind. Ask me what's on my mind I will tell you. Just simply ask. If it's from you I'd want to talk." Taehyung clarifies, Jimin then stares up at him with a neutral expression.

There was silence for a brief moment before Jimin spoke. "I don't know how to say this but you were like that to me before as well... Hm... it might be because you've seen me every day for the past 5 years that you eventually got bored of talking to me." He says in a small nearly inaudible voice.

Taehyung held Jimin's other hand as they continued to walk home. "I can't tell what will happen after 5 years from now but I know I won't change my mind about you."

Jimin felt reassured with those words. He believes him more now. "Okay Tae."

"Ah... love." He whispers.

"Oh yeah, love!" Jimin corrects, as he heard him whisper.

Taehyung smiles before taking a bite off of Jimin's Ice candy. Jimin quickly retaliates as he was about to steal Taehyung's but suddenly they hear a screech of break from behind them. Without looking back, Taehyung as quickly as he can wrap his arms around Jimin's shoulders and pushed him to the sidewalk letting his ice candy drop to the ground.

Taehyung looked behind finally and saw the driver step out of the car. He was angry, so angry he could break someone's nose. His anger doubles in magnitude once he saw who the man was. The man was glaring at him with the same anger.
