Chapter 10

It wasn't as hot today, so Michael and I sat outside eating mangoes that he had cut up for us. We were making a mess though, because let's face it, who can eat around the stone and do it cleanly anyway? We were just laughing and joking around, then Michaels phone rang. He quickly cleaned his fingers with the paper towels and looked at the caller ID.

'Hey! It's Ash, I'll put it on speaker so you can talk to him too,' he chimed. I laughed at his cuteness and nodded. He answered the phone and we heard a shout come from the other end.

'Mikey!' More than one boy called.

'Hey you lot!' He said back. 'Hey, guess who is sitting right next to me?' He asked.

'Who?' One if them asked.

'My amazing girlfriend of course,' he smiled.

'Oh! Hey Hayley, I'm Ashton, you get to stay with me when you come down. I can't wait to meet you,' he said. He sounded really nice.

'Hey Ash,' I said, 'I'm looking forward to meeting you too.'

'I'm batman!' One of them said in a really deep voice. Michael laughed along with the rest then I joined in.

'Shut up Calum!' Michael said down the line.

'Oh my god! You didn't tell me you were friends with batman!' I said sarcastically.

'I knew he would tell you anyway,' Michael replied. I laughed again.

'And I'm a penguin!' I heard the last voice say.

'Um, hi?' I said.

'Thats Luke, but just ignore him, we all do,' Michael said. We all laughed again at the way the boys picked on each other.

'So, what are you guys doing right now?' Ashton asked.

'Or did we interrupt the fun?' Calum whispered. We heard a smack and an 'ow'. I guess someone had hit him.

'We were just chilling eating mangoes,' Michael said.

'Well isn't that nice, man I wish we got them!' Luke said.

'Hey Mikey, you keep telling us about Hayley, but you never got around to sending us a picture,' Calum said.

'Yeah, get onto the computer and we'll Skype you,' Luke continued.

'Ok, on in a few,' Michael said then hung up. 'Come on gorgeous, time to meet the rest of the guys,' he said taking my hand and leading me to the office.

The computer was already on, so Michael opened Skype and we got a call from the guys. Michael told me to hide then jump up when he told me to, so I ducked down behind him. He answered the call and the guys came up on the screen.

'Hey there,' Luke said in what was meant to be a seductive tone. I nearly let out a giggle but covered my mouth.

'Hey!' Michael said, matching Luke's tone.

'So, where is she?' Ashton asked.

'I don't know where she went to be honest, but she said that she would be back soon,' he lied so convincingly.

'Well, in the mean time, what's been happening your end of the world?' Calum asked.

'Not much really, just hanging out with my babe,' he said.

'So you guys,' Calum asked, and I could just see him making kissing faces, 'Yet?' Michael laughed and I wondered how much he would say.

'Maybe, maybe not, what's it to you single ladies?' He joked.
