There was a loud bang as the door hit the wall, and there in the doorway stood one of the most beautiful girls I have ever seen. Immediately I felt self conscious, this girl was tall and thin and had long, blonde hair and blue eyes. She had the kind of build any guy would drool over, and then there was me. Michael pulled me a little closer, and I heard a whimper come from Luke. I didn't know what was going on, all I knew was I was a lot less pretty than this girl.

'Michael! How could you do this to me?' The pretty blonde cried. 'You were meant to come over and help me out, I can't do anything now!' I stared at her, she looked perfectly capable of doing things herself. Plus, how could Michael? He only had one arm!

'Clair, I told you, I can't help you. I had to go pick up Hayley from the hospital. Also, you seemed able to storm over here yelling and screaming, why do you need my help?' Michael replied, trying to stay calm.

'I know you said that you had to go pick up your stupid little suicidal friend or whatever, but I'm pregnant!' Clair yelled.

'Take that back!' Michael stood up and walked over to Clair.

'Take back what?' She spat at him.

'Hayley is not suicidal! And she's my girlfriend! You on the other hand are just some jealous slut who needs to realise nobody likes her!' Michael yelled back.

'Excuse me?' Clair said, softening her voice and sounding hurt.

'Oh don't play the victim here, Clair.'

'But I am! You knocked me up, and now you act like it wasn't your fault!' She screamed, tears running down her cheeks. Michael groaned and sat back down next to me.

'Clair, for the last time, you know it wasn't me! We broke up weeks before I left, and you probably slept around, and now blame it on me because you knew I was coming back!'

'Michael, I thought, out of everyone, you would understand,' she whispered. 'I thought you would get that my life was messed up already. But I guess I was wrong,' she said before turning around.

'How was your life messed up before this?' I asked suddenly. Clair turned around and looked me up and down.

'You really want to know?' She asked. I hesitated before nodding slowly. 'Well, it started last year, when my mum told me to go and get a job. When I did, I was working so much, I was failing school. My mum and dad then took away my weekends to make me study, and ever since then, I have had no social life!' She cried.

'Is that it? Is that really all the problems that you have had?' I probably sounded really unsupportive, but she had been through nothing!

'What do you mean, is that it? What else do you think could have happened?' Clair glared at me.

'You have been through nothing. My parents split, I haven't talked to my dad in over four years, and he is in Afghanistan right now in the war. My mum and I always faught and I cut myself so much I have scars. I even considered dying. Things got so bad between my mum and I, I ran away from home. I've been bullied and tormented my entire life. You have nothing to worry about.' And with that, I got up and walked out of the room. I didn't know where I was going, but I walked out of the house and down the street until I found a little park.

I sat down on the bench and stared at the trees moving in the breeze. I watched as birds flew around me without a care in the world, it was the first time I felt peaceful. I almost felt drowsy when I heard footsteps running along the footpath towards me. I turned around to see Calum and Luke running at me.

'Far out, I thought we'd never find you!' Calum said sitting next to me and catching his breath, Luke doing the same. I didn't look up at them, I don't even know why I was so pissed off, all I knew was I didn't want to be around Clair.
