After Nicki and my little 'fight' I decided to get some sleep. I was only met by the worst nightmare that I have ever had in my life. Only proving my prediction correct.

"HANNAH! HANNAH HELP!" A shrill voice screeched through the air. It sounded like a little girl's. I was on a peak of a mountain that curved over creating a hook like shape. Almost like in The Grinch but much, much bigger. "HANNAH HELP ME!" the girl's voice rang through the air once more. I ran over to where the voice was coming from. The edge of the cliff. How could the voice come from here unless...then I saw them. Eight little fingers clutching to the edge of the cliff, white from squeezing so hard. And they were slowly slipping. I sprinted over to the girl and reached out a hand. But then I saw who the girl was. Lizzie Popovic. Why was she here? Was this some kind of test? Why would a girl who I despise be here in my dream dangling over an edge of a cliff. I was thinking about pulling my hand back and letting her fall, but I couldn't. If I did then I would be part of the cause for her death, and I couldn't do that. I stuck out a hand once more, and placed a ferm grip on her forearm. Yanking her to safety with one arm, while pushing myself off of the ground. Once her feet touched the ground, and I let go of her arm, a devilish grind grew on her face. Before I could react to her expression she placed both hands on my shoulders, and shoved me over the edge. As I was falling into a dark canyon that seemed to never end, I looked back up at the cliff once more only to see a grinning Lizzie looking down on me.

I woke with a start, sweat drenching my hair. I sat up and looked around our campsite. I saw Ben sitting on one of the logs carving a stick with the knife I gave him. "I'm going on a walk," I tell him standing up. "Um, I could go with you," he offers, but he and I both know what I'm going to say. "I need some time to think alone," I tell him turning towards the forest. He nods and goes back to his carving. As I walk into the forest my mind starts swirling with questions. Why did the gods fear me? Was it really just because they don't know me? Why was Nicki so upset when I told them about Poseidon, and why did she want to see him so bad? Why did he come to see me? How did I know about that story? Even though I had never heard that in my life, and I'm 100% sure about that. Why did Kavora like that Jackson guy so much? Who even was Jackson? What was that metal ball thing that blew up the motel? And the thing that has been eating away at me is, why was my brother trying to capture us? So many questions but still no answers, only guesses. I don't know how long I've been walking, but I have arrived at the edge of the forest. Ahead of me was the base of a mountain. I decided to climb it, so I could possibly get a better view of the forest we've been living in for the past few days. I find myself climbing higher than I intended to. I scramble onto a ledge that will hold my weight and peer out into the open air. It was an incredible view. I let out a sigh of relief. I'm finally away from all of it for a bit. The dragon. The monsters. The gods. As I stood on the small ledge daring for it to break, the sky slowly shifts into a pinky orange color. The sun was setting, and in an instant a thought rushed into my full head. How long have I been up here? I let out a deep sigh. I guess it's time to head back to my friends. "HELP!" I froze mid-step. "HELP PLEASE!" An ear shattering scream called out. It was coming from higher up the mountain. I let my instincts kick in and began to climb. All of the thoughts of going back to my friends flew out the window. My mind and heart was now fixed on helping this person. I was climbing at an incredible rate, lessening the distance between me and the peek of the mountain. "SOMEONE HELP!" There it was again. I pushed forward or should I say upward. There was a small voice in the back of my mind pleading with me to go back down, that this is a horrible idea. I simply ignore it. "HEEEELLLLP!" This time it sounded louder. I'm almost there hold on. The voice was at the very peek if the mountain. Just a few more feet. I scramble onto the flat surface of the mountain peek. I made it. "HELP ME!" I could now hear the voice clear enough to tell that it belongs to a girl. As I scan the area looking for the girl I see them. Eight white little fingers clutching onto the edge of the cliff for dear life. I sprinted over to the fingers and peered down over the cliff. I realize that the mountain peek curved over into a hook like shape. Why do I feel as if I've seen this before? "Help me pleeeaaase!" The girl begged me desperately. Her voice was dry and broken. She had straight dark drown hair hat cut off at her shoulders. Her eyes were a light green and filled with terror. She was pale with long skinny limbs. She was my age, 14. I knew this girl. I've hated her for many, many years, and she has hated me. His girl is Lizzie Popovic. I've known her since I was 7 why was she even here on my quest? "Hannah please I'm slipping," Lizzie pleads me desperately. For a split second I want her to fall, so I can be free of this demon of a girl. But the moment the thought comes its replaced by fear and anger. I grab onto her small wrist with my right hand using the other to steady myself, and heave her back onto the ledge. Her scared face shifted into a scary evil grin. Why does all of this seem so familiar-my dream. I gasped and Lizzie shoved me with all of the force she could muster. (It's still not that much though.) I twisted as I fell over the edge, and snatched the cliff's edge. I grunted as I swung in the air. "Ugh! Just DIE!" Lizzie screamed at me, clearly not happy with the results of her little stunt. She muttered something under her breath angrily as she lifted one of her two very large feet. "See ya on the dark side, Hannah-banana!" Lizzie yelled smashing her gold glittering high heels down on my fingers. I screamed in pain as I begin my decent towards the Earth's surface. I glared at Lizzie's shrinking body. It was draped the same dress I woke from my dream with the dragon in. How does she have it? Where did she get it from? I don't scream because I don't want to give her that satisfaction. I twist my body around so I'm facing the ground. My eyes dart to the cave right next to the spot I'm guessing I will land. I was only 100ft away from the ground and that number was dropping fast. I'm going to hit the ground in three........two........one. THUD! Every last bit of air burst out of my lungs in an instant. Fighting for breath my head fills with one more question. HOW AM I ALIVE?! That fall had to be from at least 8 to 9,000 feet above me. "I saved you and I'm looking forward to meeting you again in battle Hannah," a deep voice growled in my head. I was still fighting for breath as I slowly sat up. I tilted my head to see an extremely large opening of a cave. I gasped leaving me out of breath again. The cave. The dragon's cave. I've found it. A new and unexpected burst of energy courses through my veins. I half to get to the others now as soon as possible. We need to prepare for the epic battle that will soon begin.
