We follow Nicki down a dirt road to a massive arena that I should've noticed before. Man, I'm really letting things slip by me lately. It was filled with training equipment consisting of different racks of weapons and shields. There were rope courses and dummies scattered around to practice on and about 80 targets located in random spots. This is awesome! I thought to myself.

Sydney sprints over to the weapon stock and immediately finds a large sledgehammer and chucks it at the nearest object. It spins through the air and nails a dummy in the head taking it clean off.

"Whoa nice job Syd!" I call over to her as I start walking to the weapons. There was a small sensation in the bottom of my stomach as I walk away from the swords and knives. I feel myself being pulled slightly to a bow and arrow.

"It's beautiful," I mumble to myself in awe at the clean wood, but apparently someone heard.

"Yeah sure is,"I jumped slightly at the sound of Leo's voice gripping the weapon. "I made it myself just to let you know," Leo bragged with his hands behind his back. He wasn't wearing the tool belt anymore but he had on a dirty old white tank top. He smirked at me and said, "Give it a shot. I want to see if you can shoot."

I scoff and knock an arrow, pulling my elbow back. Balance...focus on the target and nothing else. I let out a breath and let my arrow fly, and it definitely found its mark. Deep into the direct center of the target, dead middle.

"Lucky shot, do another one," Leo demanded, slightly in shock at the accuracy. So I did it again. But this time faster, and split the first arrow in two because the first was in the the second's way. At this I turned around and smugly smiled at the chocolate haired boy.

Leo made me do this 5 more times to prove it wasn't just luck. After the 6th time there was a small crowd of everyone who was in the training arena or just passing by watching me shoot. Finally after my 10th split arrow the crowd had grown to take up most of the arena itself, and all of them were there to see me shoot.I was about to let my 11th arrow lose when Mr. Brunner walked in making my jaw drop, how was he here?! As I let the arrow fly I saw him scowl.

"Hannah come with me now!" He demanded with an authority I haven't seen from him before.  I quickly obey and follow, shoving the bow and arrows into Leo's chest. Chiron led me to a building that looks like a big blue barn with vines covering it, and a wrap around porch. I walked past a sign that read 'ᗷIG ᕼOᑌᔕE' in white paint. As we walked inside I stopped dead in my tracks.

Chiron was a HORSE!

How did I never notice that?! I thought. He turned around to face me confused at my abrupt stop. He had his normal brown hair with lots of gray and a scruffy brown and gray beard. But the other half of him wasn't in a wheelchair, but a white horses lower half. I felt like screaming my brains out right then and there but I put my hand over my mouth and held it in.

"Ha, finally paying attention to our surroundings now are we," he stated with a small chuckle as he smiled at me. I just stood there with my hand over my mouth staring at the white hooves. "Anyway I called you in here because no one has ever shot an arrow that well. Have you ever practiced before this?" Chiron studied my face as he stroked his beard.

"No, I have never shot a bow before." I said as I shook my head clearing the shock from my mind.

"Then why did you choose the bow to begin training with?" He asked me with a strange look on his face.

"Umm, I don't know it felt as if something was drawing me to it. Why, did I do something wrong?" I asked trying to read his face. I was really confused about what the big deal was. All I did was shoot an arrow sure I was good at it but I don't really have a reason for it. I was just as confused as him.

"No...you did not, you may go back to training," he turned away, still scratching his beard, and began flipping through pages of one of the books laying on a table.

"Okay," I said but Chiron didn't seem to notice let alone care. So I walked out the door. Why was he so interested in me shooting a bow. Probably a bunch of other demigods have done the same thing. I wondered. Sydney interrupted my thoughts by jumping in front of me attempting to scare me. All I did was raise an eyebrow making her smile and shake her head.

"Hey, we were wondering where you went. C'mon Nicki, Leo, Percy Annabeth, Joey, and I are all going to dinner you should come." She said with a cool smile. She fits in here so perfectly. At that thought I smiled slightly knowing that it's always been hard for the two of us to fit in anywhere. I raised an eyebrow with a large grin at her comment.

"That's a big group. We're all going to sit at one table?" The amount of seats weren't adding up in my mind with the number of people.

She laughed, "No, we are just walking to dinner together. We have to sit at the table that is assigned to our cabin." I'm still confused but I decide to just roll with it.

"Okay." Sydney grabs my hand and leads my to the mess hall for dinner.
