The young woman sat in the corner of the silver building weeping. Her long jet black hair cascading around her pale face. Her silver eyes were red and puffy, for she has lost a daughter tonight. Her only daughter for that matter. This is what she feared from the beginning. That her only daughter would not live a full life. She would not see her brother Jack again. There was a creaking sound that meant someone opened the door. The woman didn't bother looking up because she knew who had came. "Artemis, father has called everyone to the throne room. We must discuss what has happened. We could help her," said a handsome young man with shining blonde hair and tan skin. Artemis raised her head as the man crouched down beside her, placing a hand on her knee. "H-he wants to h-help her?" she asked in confusion. Her grieving eyes flashed with a slight hope. "Apollo, we must go then!" she jumped to her feet and started running to the door. Apollo laughed before following not far behind her. The two siblings sprinted to the throne room. They burst through the large doors attracting the attention of ten other pairs of eyes. "We have to help her!" Artemis erupted. The king of the gods, Artemis and Apollo's father along with most of he gods and goddesses in this room, stared down at her. "Artemis, please-" Zeus began but she interrupted him. "No! She is my daughter! She saved our lives! I will NOT stand here and let her be punished for something that should be rejoiced!" The woman lectured. Tears forming in her eyes. Zeus sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. The goddess Athena stood and glided over to the pair of twins. She stood in between the two and placed a hand on each of their shoulders. "I agree with Artemis. We need to help Hannah. She has helped us. We must do the same. I do not want my sons to loose a great sister and loyal friend. We can summon her here and save her life, but there would be a cost," Athena spoke with great wisdom. Zeus nodded. "I'll do anything, anything to help my daughter!" Artemis began to cry. Hot tears streaming down her face. "Then we shall save your daughter from Tartarus," the king of the gods finished.

It feels as if I've been falling for days. Occasionally hitting the dragon's wings as we twisted in the air. My shoulder felt as if it was still on fire. My wrist felt as if it broke more with every movement. My hands were caked with the dry blood of the dragon and Minotaur. I wasn't screaming anymore. I was only falling. I saw blackness at the corner of my eyes. I was beginning to black out. No no no no. I can't black out! No, I can't. But as soon as I said those words in my head darkness consumed me.

I slowly opened my eyes. Only to see a wooden ceiling. I was laying in a soft bed with a feather pillow behind my head. I slowly sat up, using my elbows to prop myself up. I looked around to see something I wasn't expecting. I was in the infirmary at Camp Half-Blood. "Impossible," I whispered staring around the room. My eyes landed on one of Apollo's daughters. The only one in the room. She dropped the folded blankets she had in her hands as she stared at me before sprinting out the door screaming for Chiron. I just watched as she left leaving the door open. I swung my legs over the side of the bed. I was still wearing the same clothes as before. I rubbed my head groggily. I rubbed my wolf neckless and my silver bow and arrows appeared in my hands. I smiled and rubbed my neckless again making them vanish. I noticed another neckless around my neck. I lifted it so I could see it. It was a silver crescent moon with lots of little diamonds inside of it. I rubbed it and my black steel sword appeared in my hand. My smile grew as I rubbed the moon once more. I slowly got to my feet and stretched my back. It felt as if I was laying there forever. Once I was done stretching I walked to the door. How am I even here? I walked through the door and took a deep breath. It's good to be back. I heard the sound of pounding hooves and turned to my left. There racing towards me was Chiron. "Chiron!" I yelled happily. "Hannah! It's good to see you child," Chiron said joyfully, bringing my into a tight hug. I thought my shoulder was going to hurt when he hugged me but it didn't. It felt normal. "How am I here? One second I was falling into Tartarus and the next I was waking up in the infirmary?" I asked with a grin. Chiron smiled and said, "The gods have decided to let you live and they brought you here." My smile grew at that. Thank you. I prayed to the gods. "Where are the other si-" I started but was interrupted. "HANNAH!" I heard people scream. I whipped around only to see all six of my best friends. They started running towards me and I sprinted at them.  "GUYS!" I screamed, jumping into the air and into their arms. I was engulfed in a giant group hug. "You're okay!" Nicki yelled hugging me again. I laughed and hugged her back. "We did it you guys! We saved Olympus!" I cheered. They all cheered with me. Once that was all done I saw Sydney glance at her brother and tell everyone that they all had to go. "What, why?" Anna asked confused. But then Sydney nodded at Leo and I, and Anna got the point. "Ooh, right. Well we'll see you later, Hannah!" Anna called as the five of them walked away snickering. They're weird. I turned back to Leo and grinned. "So, let's count out how many times you thought that I was dead shall we?" I asked and began counting them off with my fingers. But I was interrupted by Leo grabbing my waist and planting his lips on mine. I smiled into the kiss and wrapped my arms around his neck. Time seemed to slow down and it was just us. We pulled apart for air and rested our foreheads against each other's. "Why do you always seem to die then come back?" Leo asked grinning. "Because you promised me that I won't loose any of you. So what makes you think that I'll just leave you guys too?" Leo chuckled before planting another kiss on my lips. But I only let it last for a second before pulling away and running off to find my other friends here at camp. I ran to the dock where I saw Percy from the distance. "Hey!" Leo whined, "You teaser!" I turned around for a brief moment grinning only to see him running after me before I turned and ran to the dock. "Percy! Annabeth!" I screamed with laughter in my voice. The pair whipped around and started laughing as they saw me running from Leo towards them. I ran and jumped onto Percy in a hug with so much force that it knocked us over. I yelped as we fell off the dock and into the water. Once I resurfaced I saw Leo and Annabeth laughing their butts off. But here was someone else there with them laughing. I didn't even notice him when I ran at Percy. He had long brown hair that brushed his eyebrows, grey eyes that looked like Annabeth's, and he looked a lot like me. It took me a moment before I recognized him. "Jack?" I breathed out. He stopped laughing and stared at me. "Hey, Hannah," my brother said with a small wave. I scrambled out of the water and into the dock. "Oh my gods. You're a half-blood? Who's your mom?" I asked in disbelief. This is crazy. "Athena. I'm Annabeth's half brother and your half brother," he said simply. He was grinning like a mad man. "When did you get here?" I asked very confused. "Last week actually. Four or five days after you left," he said. I just stared at him. So both of my brothers are demigods? Weird. "Have you seen Syd yet?" I asked him. His cheeks turned a slight pink before he said, "Yeah, yeah I've talked to her." I laughed and slapped his shoulder. Percy has gotten out of the water now and was standing next to Annabeth. I was still soaking wet but I didn't even care. "So you're Hannah's brother Jack? I'm Leo," Leo said holding out a hand for Jack to shake. He took it and nodded. "So what are you doing out here with them?" I asked gesturing to Percy and Annabeth. "We were getting to know each other and they were telling me about the whole dragon thing. Did you really kill it?" I nodded and frowned at the memory. Falling into Tartarus wasn't fun. Let alone burning my shoulder and breaking my wrist. "The thing burned my shoulder and broke my wrist. Speaking of that how long was I in the infirmary for? Because I'm healed fully," I asked, eyeing all of them. Annabeth sighed and said, "Ten days." My eyes widened. Wow. Ten days. I wonder how everyone I haven't seen yet has been doing. I gasp realizing something. "Where's Kavora!" I growled. I stared at Leo. Then remembered the nightmare I had once I saw Leo's sad eyes. "No," I mumbled. "Hannah," Leo reached out and pulled me into a hug, but I didn't move. I just stood there, tears threatening to spill. "No," I mumbled again. I walked out of Leo's arms and started to make my way back to shore. She can't be dead. She just can't. KAVORA! KAVORA PLEASE! I screamed for her in my head as I sulked to the cabins. I needed to change out of these blood stained clothes. I felt a hot tear run down my face as I slowly made my way to my lonely silver cabin. I've been through a lot this summer. I opened the door of the cabin and walked inside. I opened the closet that had my clothes inside it and pulled out a camp T-shirt and a pair of blue jean shorts. I looked into the mirror to see my appearance but I barely recognized it. There in the mirror was a tan girl with scars, bright eyes, and golden hair. I smiled at myself. I've changed for the better. Kavora would want me to move on-wait if Kavora died then-then my dream... Oh my gods! I sprinted out of my cabin and back to the dock. I saw Leo walking over to the other five as they made their way to the mess hall. "Guys!" I called as I ran over to them. All of them stopped and turned to look at me. "Guys...what happened...after you watched me fall..," I panted. Their faces turned sorrowful as they glanced at each other. "Tell me exactly what happened. I know about Kavora, so don't sugarcoat it," I stated flatly. Sydney nodded and started to explain everything that happened. It was just like my nightmare. "But after they killed Kavora Nicki found a little bit of water on the ground and cut our binds and we made it out. We couldn't get Kavora's body, there wasn't enough time. We're really sorry, Hannah," Sydney finished. I nodded and said, "Hey, it's fine we'll all see her in Elysium some day." I gave them a reassuring smile before yelling, "Now let's go celebrate! We saved Olympus and got back alive! We can also celebrate Kavora." They cheered and we all ran into the mess hall. After we dropped some of our food into the fire we all sat down at my table because we were celebrating, and my table was just me. We laughed and joked around as we ate. Soon we headed to the camp fire where Chiron announced the accomplishment of our quest. He also mentioned the part where we snuck out without permission, but he was going to let it slide for this time only. "These are the beads for this year at camp!" He called to everyone in the clearing. Satyrs started to pass out a glowing silver bead to everyone. Once I was handed one I examined it closer. It was a wooden silver bead that seemed to glow in the moonlight with a black crescent moon painted on it. Since it was my first year I was also handed a leather rope to tie around my neck. My first bead of Camp Half-Blood.
