~New continued....~

Did he just say ' your father'? Did he know something about Poh's death? My heartbeat accelerated to a point where I thought that it would burst out of my chest. How could he know about Poh's death? How was he connected? Unless.............I didn't want to think about the possibilities. I had to survive first.

I started working harder on the rope. I was hoping that the cartons would shield me from the view of the camera.

"Lee? Lee??" I whispered softly. For quite sometime he didn't even move but then I heard.

"It's....them...K.........P......" .

His voice was very faint and I couldn't make out much.

One of the two minions, the Goliath had left behind suddenly walked towards Lee and kicked him on his back.

"What are you mumbling?"

"Water...." Lee let out in a hoarse voice.

"What do you take me for? Your servant? Water huh?" He laughed and kicked Lee some more.

There was no way we could talk with these idiots around. I decided to shut my mouth and work on cutting the ropes. Finally my hands came lose.

"Did you two kidnap him?" I asked.

"Yeah....he was an easy pick. He is such a dummy. Master said that he would be smart but...." The man laughed.

"Your master must be really smart then."

"Oh he is very smart. Otherwise how can one be responsible for such a huge business at such a young age."

The moment he said that, the other guy kicked his foot. But I had already gotten my information. Out of all the people around us the list of people owning a business was small and of course without Tay, the list was smaller.

"But you two seem quite weak to me maybe the other guy did all the job."

"Who? Kin?" One of them rolled his eyes. "We are enough for this chicken. Kin handles other stuff."

So the Goliath's name was Kin......

"Kin must be more trusted by your boss........so maybe he is given more important stuff."

"Stop your nonsense will you? We are the ones who do all important stuff."

"Like kidnapping?"

"Will you shut up!" This time the quiet minion spoke. "Don't try to fish around for information......."

"When did I do that? I am just curious about your hierarchy...."

"Shut up!" He kicked my leg.

I glanced sideways where Lee was lying in a heap. My hands were free but I still dare not move. Could I handle these two men alone? I wasn't weak but I was no wrestler.......

I looked at the two men. They seemed preoccupied with something on their phones.

I clutched the knife tightly in my hand and started cutting the rope tying my legs. That Kin wasn't back yet. If Lee had been okay, maybe we would have managed to fight our way out but......

Right at that moment Lee coughed. I turned towards him and he winked. His eyes darted towards my hands swiftly and he winked again.

What was he trying to tell me??? I looked up nervously, but the men still seemed engrossed in their phones. Good, this was probably the only opportunity I was going to get to free myself. I worked cautiously using only one hand at a time. They shouldn't see my hands in front otherwise they would know.
