"You should go after him Tay." Gav said grabbing my hand and pulling me up from the bed.

"Noooo......" Lee pulled me back on the bed.

"Lee!!! How can you be so selfish?? Are you finding some kind of opportunity here?" Gav looked angry.

"What opportunity?? What are you guys talking about?" I asked confused.

"Do you really think I am that kind of a person Gavin? If that were the case, I wouldn't have waited for so many years." Lee glared at Gav, both of them ignoring me completely.

What was going on?

"Then? Why now? Let him go get New..."

"Don't you understand? If Tay is hurting, New must be hurting ten times more......that's how love is!! Give the guy some space..."

What the hell? Ten minutes ago both were being my best friends and now they were talking as if I didn't even exist.😏

Lee's whole face had turned red.
This kind of behaviour was so out of character. Normally Lee was always calm, composed....and even funny. This was different.

"What's wrong with you two? Why are you arguing? And since when did you become a love expert Lee? As far as I remember you have zero experience in love or anything close to love🙄........and why the hell are you defending New?"

Ever since I had known Lee, I hadn't seen him having a single girlfriend...he had dated occassionally but nothing serious.......he was always too focused on his studies, work or career. Lee talking about love sounded pretty weird .......to me..... but both of them, looked serious . In fact Lee looked a bit upset or maybe angry.

He pulled out the phone from his pocket and looked at it. "Some urgent work came up...I have to leave....I will catch up with you guys later...." He was already at the door.

"Hey!! Hey!! Lee.....buddy.....what's going on?"

The door slammed shut and Lee was gone. It was strange because I thought... I saw his phone switched off. It was blank......

"Did he just try to avoid us?" I asked a bit surprised by Lee's behaviour.

Gav didn't respond.

"What's going on Gav? Did I say something wrong?

"You can be pretty dumb sometimes Tay...."

"Why? What did I do? Does he really love someone?"

Gav remained quiet again.

"Gav?"

"Why don't you ask him yourself?"

"Why can't you tell me?"

I was getting annoyed by this ridiculous situation.

"Let's not talk about Lee right now Tay."

"Why not? Even if Lee likes someone why is it a secret? We are all friends....."

"Tay......you would have known if you had tried to know him a little better. He never really told me either, but I just knew."

"What are you trying to say?" This whole conversation was pissing me off even more.

"Nothing.......just forget it. It's not important. The person Lee likes doesn't like him back so it really ain't that important." He patted my back, but I had a uncomfortable feeling about this.
