My hands trembled slightly as I typed a reply to that message. That message had given me countless sleepless nights. It had been sitting unanswered, in my message box like a ticking time bomb waiting to explode. I owed it to Poh. He may not have been my bioligical father but he was the only one whom I could imagine as my dad.
I was the son of Nimit Thitipoom. A man of character, a man of principles, the person I respected and admired the most in my life. He gave me my identity, the values he imbibed in me made me who I was. The man I knew, was definitely no coward, my Poh was a fighter. I had to find out the truth. That message was the evidence that his death was no freak accident and I was not willing to believe that he committed suicide.

I was about to press the send button when Tay grabbed my hand. "Are you sure that this is a good idea New?" He glanced sideways, manoeuvring the car through the busy road.
"Nothing will happen if I just sit around and do nothing Tay. This is the only way the person behind this might make a move."
"But it could be dangerous New...... afterall we don't really know who is behind this. I feel a bit uneasy about shooting arrows blindfolded."
"Hmmm...but do you have any other way? It's been 12 years since my dad's death, how much more should we wait."
"I know that you want to do the right thing but this is a bit too risky."
"It is a risk I am willing to take Tay."
"But....have you considered the impact it might have?"
"No Tay, we are not arguing about this anymore." I said with a finality and confidence which I didn't feel at all😞.
"When do you actually ever listen to me?" Tay sighed and I had to roll my eyes.
"How much time will it take for us to reach Bangkok?" I asked looking ahead.
"Who asked you to rush to Lampang?"
"Who asked you to throw those legal papers on my face and run away?"
