The next day Jo woke up early to get breakfast for the boys. As she was getting ready she noticed Milo resting on JJ's chest, she took a quick picture and grabbed her car keys.
When she opened the door she was met with chaos, Agatha had really messed the place up.
Removing some leaves from her jeep she drove off to her favourite bakery. Tanja's treats was without a doubt Jo's favourite shop in all of Outer Banks.
"Morning Tanja!" Jo greeted the older woman who was stood behind the counter.
"Morning Joanna, what can I get ya?"
"Can I please get five blueberry muffins" Jo smiled as she grabbed her purse.
"Here you go" she handed her the money and wished her a nice day as she left the small store.
Back at John B's house Jo closed the car door with her foot as she held her purse in one hand and the muffins in the other.
"Morning Boys"she smiled as JJ rushed over to her, snatching the muffins out of her hand.
"You are spoiling us" John B called as he grabbed a muffin and shoved it into his mouth.
"Leave some for Kie and Pope" she reminded the boys who were stuffing themselves with the muffins.
"What you thinkin'?" JJ asked John B.
"I'm thinkin' that storm surge pushed all the crabs out on the marsh maze. All those drum are gonna chase the crab."
"What about the DCS? Wasn't that today?" She questioned, taking a bite out of her muffin.
"Nah, they're not gettin' on a ferry"
"Come on, think about it. It's god telling us to fish"
