"I think I'm gonna have a handprint on my ass." Dean groaned as he waddled into the bunker after Harper and I who were trying our best not to laugh at him.
"Well Freckles, you just shouldn't be so beautiful." Harper teased, cracking up and having to lean against the wall.
Dean rolled his eyes and shoved past us.
"Yeah 'Dean honey'. Why are you such a 'big beautiful boy'?" I called after him through my laughter.
"What the hell are you talking about?" Sam asked as he and Cas emerged from the library.
"They're quoting a gay guy who hit on me." Dean grumbled in a barely intelligible voice.
"And he slapped his ass on the way out the door!" I exclaimed leaning on Sam's arm and laughing while I held the giant bundle of fabric known as my wedding dress on my other arm.
"Dean, why didn't you stop this and clarify you are not interested in men?" Cas questioned.
I elbowed Sam and gave him a little wink that he just rolled his eyes at.
"I panicked! Now I get why girls who don't like you say yes to dates...." Dean defended.
Harper got a devious grin on her face, "Are you admitting Markus had game? Even better! Are you saying you would have gone on a date with him?"
"No! I am strictly into boobs and shaved legs and everything- uh... Internalized." Dean explained as he trudged into the kitchen and grabbed a beer, "What did you guys do while we were gone?"
Cas seemed to brighten up with excitement, "Your werewolf friend has recovered the tongue and infant skull. Also we found a museum which has an adequate copper bowl and petrified olive tree!"
"So all you did was work while we went and drank champagne and tried on dresses?" Harper asked re adjusting the dress she was holding to give Sam a bitch face rivaling his.
"A) it's what they do. I can't stop them. B) you better not have been drinking any champagne." I scolded, then turned back to Sam, "Where is it?"
He smiled a little and answered, "in a little town about an hour from here."
"Perfect! Let's go rob a museum!" Dean exclaimed.
"I checked the hours and local traffic cameras, the only good opening is on a Friday night or Saturday night." Sam piped up, effectively killing Dean's excitement.
"But you guys won't go this Friday night right?" Harper asked with a nervous smile.
Cas tilted his head and frowned, "Why would this be any different than any other Friday?"
"Prom." I sighed.
"Don't worry Sweetie, we will stick around." Sam assured with a smug and slightly devious smile.
Harper's eyes got wide with realization, "You know, on second thought it might be good for you guys to go."When Friday rolled around Harper could hardly contain herself. She had a giant grin permanently stuck on her face and every once in a while she would burst into a fit of giggles.
Everyone sat down for a family lunch since Harper was going to dinner with her friends and we discussed the schedule.
"I can start getting Harpie ready after lunch while you guys pack up for our heist." I announced as I took a bite of my sandwich.
"I would like to borrow a car in order to retrieve the two ingredients Garth possesses." Cas piped up.
Dean sighed and rolled his eyes, "How many times do I have to tell you. As long as you don't take baby, they're all yours." He said almost in a scolding manner. "You live here and you're family." He added for emphasis.
I squeezed Sam's knee under the table as I tried to keep my giggles to myself.
We had established the week before that the "Dean and Cas" bet was back on and I was still convinced they would confess their love for each other at any moment.
"Well if everyone's done being weird, I think I'm going to go change and practice walking in my heels." Harper announced.
Everyone took that as the cue for lunch to be over and immediately began cleaning up.
When Harper had gone to her room Sam spun around, leaning on the counter, and folded his arms,"You're going to draw warding symbols and the anti-possession symbol on her right?" He asked.
I smiled up at him as I put the last couple plates in the dishwasher, "Yeah Samson, I did it last night." It was cute how worried he was getting.
"And we're putting a hex bag in her purse?"
I stood up straight and took his hands, looking him straight in the eye, "Yes. Sam, there's no way any supernatural badie is going to snatch her. Her entire torso is covered in pen marks. She will be fine." I assured him.
"I'm starting to see why dad locking us up was easier for him." Sam sighed, closing his eyes and furrowing his brows.
I stood up on my tippy toes and pressed a kiss to his lips, "You're nothing like your dad. Don't worry."
There was a loud coughing sound from the doorway, "When you're done being disgustingly cute I would like Mom to do my makeup." Harper called.
Sam glanced over at her and grinned like a child again before placing one hand on my hip and the other behind my shoulders. Almost without warning he dipped me backwards and locked his lips to mine causing me to giggle into the kiss.
"Oh my god! Guys!" Harper complained.
I held up the 'one sec' finger and made her wait until Sam spun me back into a standing position.
"We should do that more often." I huffed, slightly out of breath.
"Agreed." Sam nodded giving me another quick kiss.
"Nope! No more!" Harper insisted grabbing my arm and pulling me away, "At least wait till you drop me off! For the love of all!"
Sam laughed as we disappeared down the halls.Within two hours we had Harper in her dress with her newly cut hair styled and dramatic smokey eyes walking effortlessly in heels. By that time Cas had taken off to Garth's and Dean was packing so Sam and I escorted her to Maddie's house where they would take pictures and everything.
Harper was deathly nervous the whole car ride but once Sam opened the door to her she bounded out of Baby and straight into teenage girl mode.
I joined all the other moms taking pictures while Sam hung back and waited for Dallas to show his face.
The next car that showed up was full of teenage boys and intercepted by Sam.
I only heard snippets of their conversation but what little I did hear and the look on Dallas' face when Harper hugged him told me all I needed to know.
"Did you threaten him?" I asked in a defeated tone.
"No. Just told them all a little story." He answered pulling out his phone and snapping some pictures.
I rolled my eyes and gave him a solid punch in the arm.
"Good. Someone needs to scare that boy." One of the moms piped up.
Before I could reply Harper rushed up to us and hugged us blubbering about sending her the pictures for her Instagram and how excited she was.
"Okay! Okay! Just make sure to call me what you get to Maddie's house afterwards." I interrupted. "And have her mom call me." I added. "And then I want a full report of what happened. You hear?"
"Yes mom." She groaned even though i knew she enjoyed it.
"Don't forget I have nothing wrong with you kicking someone's ass." Sam added as he hugged her again.
"Daaaaaaaad." She warned.
"I'm just talking hypotheticals. If he gives you trouble...."
"Dad enough." She snapped still hugging him back.
"Okay Sweetie." He relented, kissing the top of her head quickly before letting her go with the group of teenagers.
