"I put myself first on the toast list because mine miiiiiiiiight be sad and I want to get it over with" Harper babbled into the microphone as we all sat and started picking at appetizers.

I leaned over to Sam and gave him the 'what is she doing' look.

He just shook his head and shrugged before looking back over to Harper.

"A lot of you have asked who I am. I am Sam and Evelynn's daughter. Adopted! Don't worry! And technically I'm not actually adopted but they took it upon themselves to be my parents and I am so grateful." She clasped her hands together, instantly losing her confidence as she continued speaking while looking down, "When I met these two idiots..." She sniveled and tried to keep going but her voice wouldn't work, "Hold on I told myself I wasn't going to cry..." She took a breath and nodded over to us so we nodded back, "When I met these two idiots I was contemplating killing myself."

The whole wedding party went silent and I could feel both the boys tense up next to me.

There were mumbles of 'what the fuck this is a wedding.' Or 'wrong place sister' but neither Sam nor I cared.

I glanced over at him and saw a mirrored expression of pain as I put a hand on his arm, "She never told me that..." I whispered.

"Me neither." He replied.

Harper continued, glancing up at us every once in a while for reassurance, "I had seen my real father pass, my mother go crazy and remarry and abusive stepfather, and I just didn't see the point. Then in walks this bubbly red headed Amazon woman and the Jolly Green Giant, who terrified me by the way, and long story short they saved me: without a doubt. They took me in when my mother died and my stepfather bailed and protected me when he tried to uh... Reclaim custody?" She looked over to me with a 'that works right?' look in her face.

I flashed the ok symbol with my hands and she continued.

"Now I have a relatively sane mom who reminds me to pick up my room and not text at the dinner table and a protective goofball of a dad who is always there. I never told them this but I think they already know that they are the most important people in the world to me and seeing them happy and finally married after all the hell and wedding planning we went through is wonderful. These are good people and it's about time good things happen to them."

Sam leaned over to me as everyone clapped and Harper started making her way back to her seat, "Don't cry yet we've got an hour of those to come." he teased.

I smacked his arm and stood up, shuffling over to Harper and giving her a hug before she could sit down.

"Why didn't you say something earlier?" I whispered.

"I'm a stubborn teenager. I don't have reasons for half the shit i do." she laughed, hugging me back.

Sam gave her a hug when I pulled away and Dean kissed the top of her head as he passed us to go give his toast.

"Alright kids sit down and stop killing everyone with your cute little family crap." Dean teased, throwing a wink at us from his place at the mic.

I flipped him off and stuck my tongue out at him as I sat down.

"See what I have to deal with?! She's like a evil little sister!" He exclaimed, earning a laugh from the guests, "Nah, I'm kidding. She's great. Sammy, you done chose good." He gave him a thumbs up and Sam gave him one in return.

"When we first met Gingy I distinctly remember Sam turning to me and saying something along the lines of 'she's so pure'. Now I didn't get it. She reminded me a little of Charlie with her red hair and sassy comments but it wasn't till later, spending more time with her and living together that I saw what he was saying. She had this effect on him that brought out a side of him I hadn't seen in what, 8 maybe 9 years? He wasn't kidding when he said Sunshine was an appropriate nickname. There were days where he was so unbelievably pissed at me I thought we were going to get into a fist fight, you know duke it out like we did when we were kids. Then she would just walk into the goddamn room and he would instantly change. It was totally subconscious, and good for me because I'm no small guy but Sam is huge. Not only can she keep the peace, they're really disgustingly cute together. I mean, you guys don't have to deal with it all the time because you don't live with them but they giggle a LOT. And have inside jokes and they cuddle all the time and throw food at each other and get in mock arguments about books and the chemical composition of some kind of tape they saw at the hardware store." He let the guests giggle as I blushed and hid my face in Sam's shoulder.

"Basically what I'm trying to say is that Gingy has become an irreplaceable part of the family and I'm really happy they finally tied the knot. Hopefully my car will stop smelling like her girly perfume while they're on their honeymoon." he finished.

"Its either that or she smells like onion rings!" I hollered at him as he walked around back to his seat.

"I like her smelling like onion rings!" He retaliated, over dramatising his 'anger' and making it obvious he was joking.

Joy got up and gave a really sappy toast, crying a little, and Charlie gave one full of OTP references, then it was time for Dad. Right as they were bringing out the main course of the meal no less.

"Some of you may know me as Gabriel. Others of you may know me as Allyson's baby daddy." He started out.

I gave him a dead glare, thinking up ways to torture him for being a dick at my wedding.

He had behaved so well up till now

"Alright, I'll turn my sarcasm down before she glares holes into my head. I've only gotten the privilege to know Evelynn as an adult and an infant. I visited her once, just a day after she was born, in the hospital. She cooed at me and her big blue eyes glowed at me from the crib and my heart just broke. You need to understand I didn't exactly have my life together so the only thing I could think to do was let her grow up without my burdens and keep an eye on her from afar. She grew up to be a strong, courageous, smart, beautiful, and fun young woman. I almost regret my decision to leave, but if I hadn't she wouldn't be the amazing person she is today. I love you little angel." I smiled and rolled my eyes, seeing Charlie and Harper giggling with their heads together at the seemingly innocent slur he made. "Now for the groom. I met Sam before Evelynn did believe it or not, through work. We didn't get along AT ALL so when I found out these two had become "a thing" I was less than pleased. But this little whippersnapper is the most protective, careful, and thoughtful son of a bitch you'll ever meet so I had to warm up to him eventually. I'm extremely happy I'm able to be here and guys, I love you and happy wedding day." He raised his glass and nodded, starting to leave before getting a thought and stomping back to the mic, "And Sam, you be good to her or I'll kick your ass."

Well he redeemed himself

We all clapped as he gave the mic up to Cas and I gave him a hug as he passed by.

"Thank you Daddy. I love you too." I said.

"You're welcome Angel." He said with a wink as he sat down.

This better not stick. I might kill him.

I pushed it to the back of my mind as Cas started talking.

"Hello everyone. Uhm, I'm Castiel. I'm a close family friend of the Winchesters. I think that's why Harper asked me to speak? It's certainly not because I'm good at this because I might completely embarrass Sam and Evelynn." There was a ripple of laughter that seemed to give him a little more confidence as he continued, "Sam has always been a very heartfelt person. With Dean you know if he's being honest something is really wrong but with Sam you know if he's holding back something is really wrong. So when I asked him about Evelynn and he started, I think the term is gushing, that was the first sign that she was a 'keeper'. Gabriel was correct: Sam is very protective and kind and thoughtful but he is also human. He has faults and shortcomings just like the rest of us but what amazes me about these two is they seem to love each other more because of their faults and scars and shortcomings. Evelynn is not close to perfect either but he couldn't find anything wrong with her if he tried. I know this, I've read his mind." The hunters in the room gave their version of awwwws while my family laughed at what they thought was a joke, "These two are meant for eachother. Mozeltoff guys. I'm glad you came and got me, because I wouldn't want to miss this for the world." he raised his glass and left the mic for his seat, placing a hand on my shoulder and getting interrupted by Sam giving him a hug before he could get to his seat.

I was sure there was going to be some broment soon but Harper interrupted by standing up and surveying everyone's empty plates before announcing, "THE WEDDING PLANNER SAYS IT'S TIME FOR CAKE!"
