Our first doctor's visit was a disaster.
Not only did I miss the cup to pee in and got it all over my hand, but I had a mini panic attack when they brought out the needle to draw blood, which wasn't too hard to trigger given my hospital anxiety, and to put the icing on the cake I threw up in the waiting room trash can as we were signing out. I could have died I was so embarrassed. Apparently that kind of thing happens a lot because the receptionist just handed me a water bottle and a mint with a sympathetic smile as I finished my paperwork.
"Samson we can't go back there." I said as we pulled out of the parking lot.
He frowned and took my hand, "Why? They were great. And they're the best in the state."
"Sam I vomited in their trash can." I hissed trying to pull my hand away with a couple weak tugs.
"Ehvs that kind of thing probably happens all the time. They're a pregnancy/gynecology clinic. Moody puking women are their specialty." He smirked at me and kissed the back of my hand.
"I am not moody." I snapped, actually pulling my hand away this time.
He nodded, still smirking, "That's right, you've always been stubborn and irrational."
I tried to stay mad, I really did, but he gave me that sideways glance that made my knees buckle and I couldn't help but crack a smile.
"You're lucky you're hot Samson." I teased, rolling down the window so no one had to smell my breath.
We came to a stop sign and he paused a little longer than necessary, causing me to look up and find him staring at me.
"What?" I asked.
He leaned over and gave me a quick kiss, "I really am lucky." He mumbled.

When we got home everyone had cleaned up what was left of the 'angel grace wall' and Harper was sprinting around the corner. She skidded to a halt when she saw us and was nearly plowed over by Blake.
Okay. It's a 'he' day. I got this.
"Uhm, hi Evelynn! Sam." He nodded with a nervous and mischievous smile.
I raised an eyebrow, "What were you two doing?" I asked.
"Just racing to the fridge to steal your ice cream and try to replace it before you got home." Harper confessed
I rolled my eyes and stepped aside, waving my arm like I was presenting a treasure, "Go ahead. But I want a new tub by tomorrow night!"
They grinned and quickly shuffled by us.
"You know, for the baby's sake you can't eat only ice cream and breakfast food." Sam reminded me, hugging me from behind and placing his hands over where a little bump would be starting to form soon.
Blake poked his head around the corner, "Congratulations by the way! Maybe this one will have red hair!" He winked then disappeared behind the wall.
I giggled a little, "I know... I'll find some fruit or vegetable to pig out on instead. Sound good?"
Sam kissed the top of my head, "I guess that will work."
We wandered to the library where we found both Dean and Cas with their noses buried in laptops.
"Oh good! You're home! How did it go?" Dean asked as he picked his head up.
I groaned as I fell into a chair.
"That good?" Cas asked, still not looking up from his screen.
"I threw up in their garbage can." I mumbled.
"Awww! She's already causing you trouble!" Dean smirked at Sam, "I always told you you'd have a rowdy one. It's payback for the hell you cause me and dad."
Sam sighed as he sat down next to me, "Dean it's still too early to know the gender. We've been over this. She isn't even showing."
He raised his hands in defense,"Doesn't matter. You're having a girl. I can sense it. I was the one who told mom I was getting a younger brother."
Cas squinted, "So you go from having absolutely nothing to do with kids to being the baby guru?"
Sam and I laughed as Dean muttered something to himself and went back to his laptop. A few minutes passed and my mind wandered to the spell.
"How are we going to get the holy sand from heaven?" I blurted.
"We've got Gabe on that." Cas answered.
I frowned, "But how is he going to get it? Like, it's difficult enough to get up there without being seen. How is he going to snatch something that's already kept under watch and bring it back?"
"All we have to worry about is our earth bound ingredient and getting the blood without having anyone pass out." Dean reminded me.
I nodded then remembered they needed my blood specifically, "Shit! I can't just let loose two quarts of blood while I'm pregnant!"
"Nope you can do 1/2 a quart without any effects other than drowsiness once every three days." Cas rattled off, "I checked. We can start as soon as we find the last one or Gabe gets the sand."
"So now we just wait?" I asked slumping onto Sam's shoulder.
"Yu-p" Dean answered, handing each of us a book, "Read up kiddos."

Garth called the boys on a hunt a few days later so I got to drag Harper to the doctor's office with me.
It wasn't big news by now but the tests all came back positive and they gave me supplements and a "suggested diet and sleep regimen" for until our next visit.
"This diet is total bullshit." I grumbled as I swung into the car with Harper right behind me, going through the diet herself.
"There's no way you're actually going to stick to this." She agreed, laughing.
"As long as we don't tell Sam it's not bad that we go get a burger right?" I asked, giving her the 'just roll with it' look.
"I'll let it slide until you start showing. After that I'll be worse than Dad." She warned, going back to her reading material.
Sam called right after we got out of the diner, "Hey Samson!" I greeted.
"How did it go? Are they healthy? Did the doctor give you supplements? Exactly how far along are you?"
I laughed and answered all of his questions with a sigh, "Fine, no morning sickness this time. They're completely fine. I've got supplements and a diet that I probly won't be sticking to. And I am two months and two weeks along."
I then had to repeat myself when he put me on speaker phone. Garth scolded me for talking and driving which made me irrationally happy.
"How's the hunt going?!" Harper asked as she swiped my phone and set it to speaker as well.
Dean sighed, I could tell it was him by how dramatic it was, "It might be a while."
"Well define a while." I prodded.
"Two, three weeks? Maybe four if shit hits the fan." He answered.
Part of me knew it was no big deal and that this monster always took time but the rest of pregnant me started to tear up. I furiously nodded, even though they couldn't see, "Okay." I squeaked.
There was a pause where I was sure Sam and Dean were making faces at each other before Sam blurted, "Do you need me to come home?"
I heard Dean groan and slap his thighs like he always did when he throws his arms in the air in frustration.
"No! No if you need to stay there and help with the hunt do it. I wouldn't want to pull you out just because I'm moody." I quickly clarified.
"Are you sure?" He asked.
I sighed, "If I really need you I'll let you know."
Harper decided to change the subject, "We'll talk with Jody and get Bobby' place in order how about that?"
"Bobby's...?" Dean asked.
"I'll fill them in. Love you three. Stay safe." Sam said before hanging up.
-
The hunt took them four weeks. In those four weeks Harper and I got her applied and accepted to like five colleges, had purchased Bobby's land back from the state, got a surveyor from three different contracting companies out there to see how much time it would take to rebuild, and I had started showing.
It wasn't a gradual thing either. One day I woke up and there was a little bump and the next day the bump was twice as big and the next day it was bigger yet. By the time we got the call from the boys saying they were on their way home it was very obvious I was pregnant.
"I'm literally only two weeks into my second trimester, how is it this big?" I marveled as I held my stomach and looked in the mirror.
Harper took a big chunk out of the ice cream bar she was eating as if she was taunting me with it, "You're not exactly short and Dad is kind of a giant. Your baby is going to be a freak of nature." She said through a full mouth.
"But is this normal?" I asked, turning to get a different angle in the mirror.
"It looks like someone unevenly cut a baby watermelon in half and taped it to your stomach." She commented, ignoring my concern.
"Oh my god I'm going to have to get those maternity pants soon." I groaned.
"And those cute flowy shirts that make your boobs look great and hide the fact that you can't button your pants." She added.
"My boobs are going to get huge! And I'm going to have to wear those nursing bras!"
"BUT YOUR BOOBS ARE GOING TO BE HUGE!" She countered, trying not to laugh.
Normally I would have laughed with her, it was funny after all, but I was irritated by the fact that she wasn't empathizing.
"If your body did this much changing in such a short amount of time you wouldn't be laughing." I snapped, pushing past her out of my room and towards the library.
"Mom I didn't mean it like that! I was just trying to-"
"Make fun of me? Be sarcastic as hell like always? Yeah. I know." I interrupted as I picked up the giant book about nephilim that had informed me I could teleport and plopped down on the loveseat.
"Noooo." She argued, "I was trying to get you to look at the positive side. Or humorous at least. You're just being a hormonal wreck."
I rolled my eyes, "What time is it."
She checked her phone and fell into the chair across from me, "Almost two, why?"
"The boys should be home soon."
Within ten minutes we heard the garage creak, signaling for us to sprint to the door.
We got there just as the boys were pulling in and the first thing I did was turn to the side and show off my bump. I pointed to it with a huge grin on my face as I tugged the fabric of my sweater tight around it. Harper made her way in front of me and turned to gesture to my stomach like Vanna White earning a chuckle from Dean. Sam's eyes were wide and his jaw hung slightly down.
Cas was out of the car almost before it was stopped and he ran up to me, engulfing me in a hug, "They're growing so fast!" He exclaimed.
"Oh you're so lucky you didn't say she'd gotten big." Harper chuckled as Dean and Sam hauled themselves out of the car.
Dean strode up and gave me his signature bear hug, "She is getting big. The little she."
"That appointment is next week." I giggled.
"And you'll find out I'm right." He countered, kissing my cheek before letting me go.
Sam just stood there staring at my bump, then my face, then my bump again with misty eyes.
"Aw dad's gonna cry!" Harper cooed after hugging Cas and Dean.
And he did start to cry, but he covered it up by hugging me and burying his face in my hair, not that anyone missed it.
"Harper get a picture, the kid's gonna want to see this." Dean urged.
I laughed as I heard her snapping more pictures and rubbed Sam's back soothingly, "Samson I'm the one who's supposed to cry at the drop of a hat."
He pulled away and rested his hands on my stomach while I wiped his tears away, "It's actually happening. Like you can see it and it's real and I missed a whole month of this!"
"You just missed me eating and complaining and throwing up in the morning. It's okay." I assured him.
"Believe me it wasn't anything particularly pleasant." Harper added.
"Hey!" I protested.
She raised her hands in defense, "Being honest!"
Sam laughed and kissed my forehead, "Let's go inside, I'm exhausted."
