The car is safe. It's warded and big and metal and devil's trapped. It's safe.
I sat clutching my pillow in the passenger seat unable to convince myself to move. Dean had parked in the garage at least half an hour ago but I still hadn't gone into the bunker. I had made him promise not to tell Sam until I got to him but my plan wasn't going too well.
Finally the garage door opened and Sam stepped through, looking extremely worried.
He tapped the glass and raised his eyebrows at me before nodding to the door lock.
I took a deep breath and made sure I wasn't going to cry before I unlocked the door and went straight back to squeezing the life out of my pillow.
"Hey Sunshine." He nearly whispered as he opened the door, "I missed you."
I felt the knot rise in my throat, "I missed you too." I whispered.
He crouched down and rested his hand on my knee, "Why don't you want to come in?" He asked.
"Baby is safe. Baby is warded and demons can't pop in here and she is safe." I immediately rattled off.
He frowned and scooted me over on the seat, making room for himself before sliding in and closing the door after himself.
"Where did this come from? Dean said you got knocked out but he didn't think you got hit that hard."
I shook my head and leaned into him as he pulled me into his lap and kissed my hair, "No I didn't. My head doesn't even hurt anymore."
He hooked a finger under my chin and tilted my head up to look at him, "Then what's wrong?"
I couldn't stop the tears this time and practically wailed as I buried my head into his shoulder, "I'm pregnant again!"
Everything was quiet except for my occasional sniff and hiccup as I cried. He didn't move for a minute or two, his hand still cradling my head and his other hand still resting on my hip.
"Samson you really need to say something because I'm terrified and the fact that you're quiet is really making it worse." I whispered, composing myself and looking up to see him staring out the windshield.
He blinked a few times and looked down at me, a smile spreading across his face and lighting up his features, "Do you actually want to rebuild Bobby's? It would probably take more than 9 months but we could do it! Or we could get a house close to where Harper goes to college! And we can-"
"You're not terrified?" I interrupted, slightly confused but relieved at the same time.
He gave me a confused smile, "Well yeah, but there's not much we can do about that. Plus, this is fantastic Sunshine!" He exclaimed, planting a kiss on my lips, continuing as he pulled away, "We will get a swing set and a dog and they'll get to do school sports and prom and plays and chess club if they want!"
"If all of us live that long!" I exclaimed.
His expression softened and he pulled me closer, "This baby is protected by not only the most powerful being in the universe," he paused and kissed my forehead, "but also the angel and two hunters who stopped the apocalypse. Not to mention it's older sister who happens to be a great shot as we found out the last couple weeks while you were gone."
I smiled, letting myself relax a little, "You think it will be alright?" I asked.
He rested his hand on the side of my face and smudged my tears away with his thumb, "We'll make it. Whatever happens, no matter how scary and dangerous or boring and normal, we'll make it. It might not always be alright but we'll make it." He promised.
I let out a sigh of relief, his words calming me and allowing me to actually be excited, "Let's call Jody and see if she can find out who bought his place in the auction." I said.
"Okay but to do that we have to go inside." Sam teased.
I rolled my eyes and smacked his chest then remembered something and slapped my hand over my mouth, "We have to tell Harper!"
We scrambled out of the car and into the bunker, sprinting down the halls after each other looking for Harper. We found her in the library with her feet propped up on the table talking to someone on the phone.
"No I know. It's totally ridiculous but that's what he told us and I'm like 'bruh did you even college?' That's NOT how the myth went at all and you definitely can kill a Titan."
I knocked on the doorway while she was listening to the response on the other end, "Hey Harpie!"
"Blake I gotta go, Mom just got home. I'll call you later!" She exclaimed before hanginging up and jumping out of her seat, practically attacking me in a hug.
"Glad to see you too!" I laughed as I hugged her back.
"Dean said you got hit! Are you okay?" She asked, stepping back and looking at my head.
"Yeah I'm fine. Take a seat though." I told her, finally getting giddy and excited about it.
She raised an eyebrow and lowered herself into her chair as Sam and I occupied the love seat.
I was going for a dramatic pause but Sam couldn't contain himself, "She's pregnant!" He spouted.
Harper's eyes bulged out of her head, "You're kidding?!" She squeaked.
I shook my head, "Nope."
She took about half a second to gather her thoughts before she took off on a rant, "What the fucking hell you guys! Don't you use condoms?! Or birth control?! You're like a walking fertility center holy shit! Like I get that you get it on and all, I try not to think about it but god damn! Get your act together you're adults!"
"This is actually a good lesson for you." Sam started and continued after me kicking him in the leg, "Condoms are not foolproof and if you don't get the quality ones they can rip or-
She shook her head and held up her hand to stop him, "Shut up. Just. Shut. Up."
She then turned to me, "You took at least three tests? To be scientifically accurate?!"
I paused and frowned, "... No... I'm actually going off what Benny told me...."
"So you're telling me a vampire told you you're pregnant so you're rolling with it?" She asked, looking at me like I was an alien.
Sam scrunched up his face in confusion, "How did he even...?"
"He said he could smell the hormones. And that my blood was all full of nutrients or something like that." I mumbled.
"Oh my god you're such a child sometimes." Harper sighed, standing up and walking down the hall yelling, "Dean! Where's the keys I need to get Mom some pee sticks!"
-
A couple hours later we all crowded in the bathroom staring at three pee saturated sticks laying on a piece of plastic wrap on the bathroom counter.
"It should light up any second now." Harper muttered in excitement.
I had one hand resting on my abdomen and the other flew up to cover my eyes, "Tell me when they're ready." I squeaked.
Sam wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his chin on my head, "It has to have been two minutes by now." He complained.
"Only a minute and twenty four seconds." Cas corrected.
"Patience is a virtue, kids." Dean teased.
I could hear Harper digging her phone out of her pocket and start snapping pictures but at this point I didn't really care.
Everyone was quiet for a few more seconds before there was a collective gasp.
"Can I open my eyes?" I asked.
"Only one of them's lit up." Harper warned.
I nodded, "Okay I'll wait for all three. Samson did you look yet?"
I felt him shake his head, "Nope."
My nerves were making my hands shake as a few more seconds ticked by.
"Okay number two is done. Just one more!" Dean updated us.
My stomach started to churn, the nervous butterflies refusing to let me wait in peace.
"Open!" Cas exclaimed.
I didn't move my hand from my eyes, "I can't! What if Benny was just saying that to get me to leave?" I squeaked.
Sam chuckled and moved my hand from my eyes, "Babe look."
I pried one of my eyes open just wide enough to see the little blue positive symbols on all three sticks.
"OH MY GOD!" I screeched as I slapped my hand over my mouth and leaned back into Sam.
"YOU'RE PREGNANT!" Harper yelled as she hugged both of us and snapped a selfie before I could get over my shock.
My cheeks started to hurt from smiling so big as Sam leaned down and kissed my cheek.
Everyone was laughing or squealing as I turned around and hugged Sam and whispered in his ear, "You promise we'll be safe?" I asked, keeping a smile on my face while I was internally panicking.
"I can't promise that. You know that." He whispered back.
"Just say it so I feel better and can panic later." I snapped.
He chuckled, "I promise."
Even though I knew it was a lie it still made me feel better as I hugged everyone else and stood staring at the tests for a few seconds.
"I'm hungry." I remarked, resting my hand over my stomach subconsciously.
Dean chuckled, "Pickles and peanut butter?" He asked as he motioned to the door and everyone followed me out and down the hall.
"No. Ew." I laughed, "Hashbrowns and sausage doesn't sound bad though."
Cas frowned as I sat down at the kitchen table, "It's nearly 5 pm...?"
"And?" I asked.
Dean nodded and pulled open the fridge, "Breakfast for the pregnant lady, coming up!"
