As it was a Saturday, most people would have preferred to sleep in and get some much needed hours of sleep. But today, everyone was up and about, to the Entrance Hall, excited to see who was entering their name.
"So, is Cedric going ahead with it? " Grace asked Illeana as they went to the Hall
"Unfortunately, yes." Illeana responded
"And how do you feel about that? "
"Honestly, I'm kind of annoyed. It's insanely dangerous and there's no need to put yourself in this situation. But on the other hand, he really wants to win this. So, guess I'm just going to have to suck it up and smile. Unfortunately for me, I can't always get what I want. Audacious,I know "
Grace chuckled and they joined their friends in the Great Hall. Jelena was sitting on the benches next to a girl with curly hair, who Grace informed her was Hermoine Granger. She saw Roger and Anthony standing opposite to the Goblet and watching other people put their names in
"Hey boys, what are you in such deep thought about? "
she asked the two
"Me and Roger were just trying to figure out whether there is any way we could enter. Although, I don't think we are smart enough for that. " Anthony recounted to Illeana
"Yeah, we've been over Aging Potion, enchanting a paper plane, convincing someone else to put our names in. Any ideas? " Roger asked Illeana
Illleana was about to respond when loud voices caught her attention.
"Come on Cedric! Put it in! " a Hufflepuff roared as a large group of Hufflepuffs pushed their captain and prefect forward.
He was going to cross the age line when he noticed Illeana.
"Hey Illeana! Come to watch me put my name in? " Cedric said cheekily
"You wish Diggory. So, looks like you're going ahead with putting your name in. " Illeana said nonchalantly, pretending as if she didn't know about it for weeks and wasn't incredibly pissed at him for doing so.
"Yes, I am. I'm assuming you're going to root for me? " He asked smirking
"I don't know really. The Durmstrang boys are quite easy on the eyes. "
"Oh really? Well, that is quite unfortunate . I was convinced I had cemented myself in your eyes as the only viable option but looks like I'm going to have to try harder." Cedric said almost whispering in her ear, slowly closing the distance between them
"Unfortunate things happen all the time Diggory. Guess you're just gonna have to get used to it. "
"OY CEDRIC STOP FLIRTING WITH ROBERTS AND PUT YOUR NAME IN ALREADY" a random student yelled breaking the tension that had built up between them.
The entire great Hall, which unbeknownst to Illeana had been watching them flirt started laughing.
Illeana couldn't prevent herself from blushing and retreated back to Grace and Jelena who patted her shoulder sympathetically.
Cedric himslef was a tomato and smiled at her before going up to the Goblet.
Just before he crossed the line, he ran over to Illeana
