200. Haikyuu: XXX ~ Pain/Abused

I sat in the backseat of the police car, looking out the window. I was being brought to my Aunt's & Uncle's place in Miyagi. They were going to be my guardians from this point on, since my father was in jail and I lost my mother when I was five. I could have stayed with my mother's sister & her family but everyone thought it would be better if I got out of Tokyo. They were probably right. Getting away from the place that caused me so much pain.

"We're here." the officer said, as he opened my door.

My Aunt and Uncle were waiting at the front door, my aunt looked like she was about to cry as I was helped out of the car. He had to help me walk over to them, before moving away to speak with my uncle. My aunt just hugged me gently and told me that they would take good care of me, when I asked where Natsu and Shoyou were, she replied that Shouyou was at Volleyball practice and Natsu was inside watching TV.

"Aika, are you okay with me carrying you to your room?" Uncle asked, as he approached me and Aunty.

I looked up at him, he and my father may be similar in appearance; but...his eyes were different and so was how he felt.

"I don't have an issue with that...thank you Uncle."

~ Time Skip a few Months, brought by adjustments ~

"Are you going to be okay?" Sugawara - Senpai gave me a kind smile, as I got on the bus and sat next to him.

"I don't know...can you and Daichi - Senpai stay by me?" I muttered, as I grabbed onto his sleeve.

"Of course, if you need any physical comfort we're here for that too. Though, it would be better for you to go to Hinata." Daichi said, from his spot across from us.

"Thank you, Senpai."

I stayed close to the third years when we entered the gym, there was a lot of people here, and it didn't help much that I went to middle school nearby.

"Don't worry, no one here bites." Kuroo - Senpai grinned down at me.

"Except for him." Kai chuckled, patting Kuroo's shoulder.

"Where's Sho?" I asked, as my breathe caught in my chest.

"Who's this?!" a guy with owl - like hair shouted, as he popped out of nowhere.

"Bo, not now. Chibi!" Kuroo shouted, causing me to flinch.

I grabbed my arms, and squeezed tightly. He's not here. He's not here. No one here will hurt me either I know that. I bit my lip in frustration as it got harder for me to breathe.

"Hey, you're going to be okay." 'Bo' said, putting his hands on my cheeks and making me look into his eyes.

He then placed his forehead on mine and began taking deep breathes in and out, after awhile I started copying him. I could feel Shoyou wrap his arms around from behind me as I gained my breathing back. I put my hands over Bo's before he could remove them. He did stand up, tilting his head to the side but he didn't say anything.

"I'm always going to be here, Aika." Shouyou said reassuringly.

"Oh! Me too!!" Bo said cheerfully, grinning down at me.

"Let's move away from the entrance, do you need anything?" Sugawara - Senpai asked, putting his hand on my shoulder.

I let go of Bo's hands and he removed his hands from my cheeks, but he did swoop me up into his arms before taking off running.

"Bokuto - San!" his friend & Sugawara both yelled after him.

I didn't say anything and stared at his face, he was concentrated on something. I didn't move or say anything, as he sat me down on a bench and started digging through his bag. He then pulled out an black hoodie, and slipped it on over me. It's smells good. I closed my eyes and lowered my head so I could smell it better. He then wrapped me up in another jacket, it was nice and warm. Surprisingly, I wasn't too hot. He then held a water bottle out to me. I opened my mouth and drank some of the water. He then sat down next to me, and started talking about random things. From Volleyball to his life at home, and about his best bro Kuroo. I closed my eyes and leaned against him, it was nice.

"You okay?" Bokuto asked, leaning to look me in the eyes.

"Thank you...Bokuto - Senpai," I gave him a tiny smile, which caused him to grin.

"SHE SMILED!!" both Shoyou and Bokuto shouted cheerfully,

I shook my head and sighed, I stood up and went over to Shoyou. He grinned up at me,

"He's cool right!"

"...Yeah.." I muttered, nodding my head.

I wonder if he'll turn out like my dad...I turned my head to look at Bokuto, who was talking to Kuroo about how cute my smile was and how cute I looked in his hoodie. When he noticed I was staring he grinned brightly at me, and I couldn't help smiling a little back. No way...he's too much like Shoyou.
