I sat in the tree, as I watched Naruto fighting Kakashi - Sensei. Trying to get the bells from him, I already knew the key to getting the bells; but it wasn't going to work. Not with this team. I looked away from Naruto and up at the sky, I hadn't wanted to become a Shinobi. I just wanted to live my life peacefully in the village. But I had to have been born with red eyes. Ah whatever. Maybe I can use Naruto as a distraction. But, with his personality he'll yell at how I intervened or something.

"Hey, Akemi - Chan! Thank you for untying me earlier!" Naruto said, as he rubbed the back of his neck with a sheepish grin.

"You don't need to thank me. Just do me a favor down the road." I told him, as I kept on walking after our team mates and Sensei.

"You got it!" he shouted, as he ran ahead of me and towards the others.

"Akemi - chan, why did you want to become a Shinobi?" Sakura asked as we watched Naruto & Sasuke spar. Kakashi - Sensei was standing in the tree above us.

"I didn't. I wanted to be a baker, but since I was born with my Sharingan my parents made me start training." I said, as I scanned their movements with my Sharingan.

"Wait really?!" Sakura shouted in shock, her eyes wide as she leaned over and looked at me.

"Oh...I was supposed to keep that a secret." I said, after seeing her reaction.

"What happened?!" Naruto shouted, after getting knocked down.

"Akemi - chan wanted to be a baker!" Sakura shouted at him, while giving me a wink.

"Then why become a Shinobi?" Sasuke asked, raising an eyebrow at me in suspicion.

"Because my parents wanted the best for me." I shrugged my shoulders,

"Are you good at it? You should bake us something!!" Naruto grinned, as he got back onto his feet.

"Hm...after I become a Jounin." I nodded my head,

"But we're still Genin!" Naruto whined,

I smiled a little, as Sakura started scolding him about being patient and leaving me alone. I'm happy I was able to meet them, and be apart of their team. I wish I could save everyone...but I'm not an idiot. People die everyday.

~ Time Skip, brought by the Chunin Exams ~

I stood in front of Lord Third, Why did I come up here again? I sighed as I pulled out a kunai.

"Akemi, stay behind me." Lord Third said, as he put his hand on my shoulder.

"I can help. I may not be able to defeat one of them, but I can buy you some time." I told him, tilting my head back to look into his eyes.

"...I'll be counting on you then." he gave me a soft smile.

I attacked first, aiming for Lord First's stomach. I activated my Sharingan at the same time, I had to do my best to keep Orochimaru here. Hopefully, I could at least change something.

I laid on the roof, as the barrier went down. My body hurt and it felt hard to breathe,

"Akemi, we've got you." Kurenai - Sensei said as she kneeled beside me.

"Lord...Fourth?" I asked her, as I took deep breathes.

"He's dead. You did good," Kakashi - Sensei said as he lifted me up into his arms.

"How is that doing good?" I croaked out, as I gripped onto his shirt.

"You're still alive." Asuma - Sensei said, putting his hand on my head.
