I looked up at the night sky, as lighting flashed across the sky and rain came down on my fur. It was as if the sky was mourning as well as screaming out in anger at the sudden loss of my master. He was old, sure, but he was healthy. I closed my eyes, as I stayed sitting in the rain until it suddenly stopped. I opened my eyes, staring into golden ones.
"Such an odd dog, sitting in the middle of the road. You're not sick are you?" the handsome man asked, raising an eyebrow at me.
I shook my head no, I wasn't sick, but my master apparently was. I lowered my head, and I didn't even notice it. I got up and turned around, I turned my head back to the man before taking a few more steps. He started following me after awhile. I brought him to the cabin where my master's body was still lying.
"I see. Well, let's get your master buried shall we." he put his hand on my head and patted me.
I followed him outside, and he made an X on the ground with his foot. I tilted my head to the side, is he seriously expecting me to dig a big hole on my own.
"Can't do it?" he smirked, challengingly.
I growled, before I started to dig. It took me three hours to dig a deep enough hole, the man grabbed the back of my neck and lifted me out of the hole. I followed him inside, surprised to see my master in a casket.
"Perona would be useful right now," the man muttered,
I tilted my head to the side, wondering who this Perona person was and why he would need them. When he lifted one end, I realized why he would need help. I went to the other end, and shifted into my human form. The man didn't say anything and I helped him carry the coffin to the hole. After he was lowered I shifted back into my dog form and started putting the dirt back over my master's coffin.
"What are you?" the man asked, after I finished burying my master.
I shifted into my human form, sitting cross - legged on the ground. The rain had stopped for us to burry my master, but now it's raining again. The weather was being odd today.
"I'm a Werewolf." I told the man,
"Hm. Do you have a name?" he asked me,
"My Master called me a Mutt. My name changes with each master." I told him, as I looked back up at the sky.
"Do you want to come with me?" the man asked,
"Yes!" I grinned at him, as I shifted into my dog form.
I followed him to his little boat, I shifted into a smaller form and climbed onto his lap. He chuckled and told me his name, and that there was another person who was already living with him. He then, gave me the name (Y/n). I liked it, but, I shouldn't get too attached to it. After all, when he dies, I'll be getting a new name. I lowered my head, and closed my eyes. I don't want my master to die...I'll protect him. No one will kill my master, so my master won't die. I wagged my tail as my master petted me. He's nice...I like my new master.
