212. One Piece: XXX ~ Running

I was  being held by my Jiji, as he walked up the mountain to where I would be living from this moment on along with some bandits and three boys who were younger than me. Mentally anyways, physically they were all older than me.

"Dadan!" Jiji shouted as we got to the cabin,

"What do you want?!" Dadan shouted as she threw the door open, stepping out with the other bandits behind her.

"Another one?" the small Bandit asked with a sigh,

"Garp! I am not taking in any more children!!" Dadan shouted with an annoyed look on her face.

"Wait. Look at her." the bigger one said, with pity in his tone.

Once Dadan and the smaller Bandit gave me a good look over, they gave me looks of pity as well. It was understandable, since I was bandaged and had an eyepatch. I was also holding a bunny, but that was behind Jiji since I had my arms around his neck.

"Is she okay?!" Luffy shouted, as he jumped out of the bushes with bandages of his own.

Ace and Sabo both came out as well, though Ace was glaring at me or maybe it was at Jiji - or both of us.

"We saved her from some bad guys, she can't speak and can't see out of her left eye. It has to be covered at all times." Jiji said before he sat me down gently on the ground.

I grabbed onto his pant leg, and stayed close to him. He was scary, but he also saved me - well. Sort of. This little girl was already dead, until my soul took over. I was badly injured though, and in a lot of pain when I woke up here. Garp - Jiji. Was the one who took care of me and stayed with me, he was the only one I trusted. Though, right now I trusted everyone here, but if he stayed longer he could protect Sabo and Ace, and Dadan and Luffy too. He could keep all of us protected. What if the people who tried to kill me found out I was alive and came after me again, that would mean everyone here would be in danger again.

"Luffy will protect you, kid, right." Jiji said, as he bent down and put his hand on my head, turning to look at Luffy who was staring at me.

"Yup! I won't let anyone hurt you!" Luffy grinned brightly at me.

I know...I looked up at Jiji, before letting go of his pant leg and going over to Luffy. I grabbed onto his shirt instead, and kept close to him. Oh my gosh, I'm touching Luffy! I squeezed my bunny, and smiled a little. I'm so glad this body can hide her emotions well. Otherwise I would be a blushing mess.

~Time Skip Five Years, brought by going on Adventures~

I had to set sail before the boys did, Jiji needed to move me some place else since the people chasing after me was starting to get close. They had learned that I was in the east blue somewhere and started their search. I gave Luffy and Ace hugs goodbye first, before moving onto the bandits. It was better if they didn't go down to the village to say goodbye, it's where we would be taking off from. I'll see them again on the water some day, hopefully they would come for me. Either Ace or Luffy. Ace & Luffy both said they would grow strong enough to protect me from whoever was after me. Which made me smile. My throat still wasn't healed, even though the rest of my body was fine I still couldn't speak.

~Time Skip Three Years, brought by surviving~ 

I had been running for the past two years, I was taught by the marines how to sail, how to cook, how to fight with a sword & gun, how to fight without a weapon, and Jiji taught me about the different Haki. It took a year to learn all of the basics of the necessities before I was left on an island. I was left with a decent sized boat just incase I needed to flee to the water. Along with necessary supplies. I had to keep moving, even if I was safe. I was told not to take any risks. Not if I wanted to keep on living, and that was what I was going to do. No matter how long it took.
