With my luck, as soon as I got out of the hospital, it was the start of the Chunin Exams. I stayed in the hospital longer because my throat got infected; it took all of Team seven to convince the nurses to let me participate in the Chunin exams. Which is where we are right now, though I was late and arrived at the testing room after the rest of the team did. I held my hand up in an apologetic gesture for being late.

- Skipping the First Exam, -

The first exam wasn't that hard, but I was more worried about Naruto since it was written. The second one was going to be easier since it was a fighting test; we had to get the opposite scroll of the one we had & bring it to the building in the middle of the forest. With the rule, we weren't allowed to open it. I decided to hold onto the scroll, probably the best choice. I was excited; I finally got a chance to train and be helpful.

...

"Move, Sasuke!" I shouted at him,

I pushed him out of the way, as I got bit by the snake guy instead. I took that chance to grab his neck and twist it - that didn't do anything, and he smirked at me. I head-butted him instead and let go. His head-smacking back into his body,

"Asami! Shut up!" Sasuke snapped at me.

I put my hand on my neck, where I was bitten, surprised to see no blood. I'm sure I felt him bite into my skin.

"Sasuke! Asami! Look out!" Naruto shouted at us,

I lifted my head just as I was knocked backward and off my feet. My vision grew blurry as the back of my head hit the tree; I slid down and grabbed my head as it pounded.

"Naruto! Come back!" Sakura shouted, her voice being the last thing I heard before I lost consciousness.

There was an odd number of people fighting, so whoever was last would be fighting against a Jounin as a test. Depending on who it would be, the Jounin would be decided after, and Jounin would be from the Hidden Leaf. It would have been an even number of people if Kabuto hadn't backed out. It was odd when one of his teammates tried to stop him from backing out. They said something, but I couldn't hear it.

The first match was Sasuke Uchiha vs. Yoroi Akado; I already knew Sasuke would win. He was strong, plus he had activated the Sharingan. I was proven wrong when Sasuke started to lose, but Naruto had begun to shout taunts at Sasuke. Kakashi - Sensei brought him somewhere after his match when he started winning.

Zaku Abumi and Shino Aburame; though Zaku had only one arm, he claimed that he could still win. He lost because Shino had sent bugs into the tubes in Zaku's arm. Kakashi - Sensei showed up after the match, Sasuke was sleeping in the infirmary, but he was okay. Which is good news.

The match after that was Misumi Tsurugi against Kankurō. Kankuro won that match by using switching places with his puppet technique.

The fourth match was Sakura Haruno vs. Ino Yamanaka; this would be interesting. The game dragged on, as they were both evenly matched until Ino took over Sakura's mind - though, surprisingly -not to me - Sakura expelled Ino from her mind. With the both of them out of Chakra, they ran at each other, both hitting the other simultaneously and rendering each other unconscious. Hayate declared that neither of them would move on to the next round. Kakashi - Sensei went down to pick up Sakura, while Asuma went down and picked up Ino. Everyone was worried about them, but I could tell they were just asleep just from looking.

The fifth match was Tenten against Temari. The game was over almost as soon as it started, not because Tenten was weak. It was just a bad match-up. Though, I was pissed off about it. I knew she was toying with Tenten; it wasn't difficult to tell. I placed my hand on Lee's shoulder, squeezing it to keep him from going down there. I then jumped down myself and caught Tenten as she was thrown.
