222. One Piece: Katakuri Charlotte ~ Arranged Marriage PT. 1

"She's just a child father! He's old enough to be her father!" my older sister, Raya, said from inside his office.

I was listening in with my two other older sisters, Emma & Mira. My Older Brothers were at the training grounds to get out their anger and mother was baking in the kitchen with my younger sisters and two other older sisters. That was their way of handling this situation.

"That's enough Raya, I had thought it would be something important. Not this, I am a busy man." Father told her in a cold voice.

"This is Important! Raven is only 17!"

"Raya. Go comfort your sister. We're leaving in a week. You and Lucas will be in charge while your mother and I are away. This will be the last time you will see her," Father said,

Raya stormed out of his office and slammed the door closed, Emma, Mira & I looked up at her with tears in our eyes. She sighed and held her arms out to me, I got up from my crouched position and ran into her arms as I let the tears fall. I didn't want to get married, let alone leave my family.

~ One Week Later ~

The wedding will take place the moment we get there, which means I wouldn't even have time to meet with my husband. Or spend time with my family before they have to leave, as soon as the wedding is over they will be heading back home with an army to help keep the land protected. In exchange, I will be marrying into the family and be held as a hostage. My younger siblings weren't allowed to come so I was giving them hugs goodbye, the only one's who were coming along were Mother, Father, Fedir, James, Emma, Mira, and Allen. We didn't want it to seem as if we were going to fight.

"I hate you Papa!!" Liz, and John shouted as they clung to me crying.

"Now don't say that," Mother said as she held Father's hand.

They were twins and five years old, my parents loved each other dearly so they had a hard time keeping their hands off of each other. Which is why Mother was nearly pregnant every year. I pushed them away a little and gave them a closed eye smile. I doubted any one believed I was okay with this with how red my eyes are. I've been crying myself to sleep every night since I learned I had to leave them.

"Be have okay? Otherwise bad stuff might happen to me," I told them, seriously.

"...Okay. We'll be have...just write okay!" John sniffled,

"I will ask if I am allowed to, I'll miss everyone!" I gave them a grin, before saying goodbye to the rest of my family.

"Princess Raven! We'll miss you!" some of our subjects shouted as we set sail,

I bit my lip as tears welled up in my eyes, they really...I held the tears in as I leaned over the railing and waved goodbye with a grin. I was definitely going to get homesick.

~ Skip A week & a half, ~

I sat at the helm of the ship, and watched as one of Big Mom's ships came into view, at least that's what I thought it was until it came closer. I scrambled off the helm as the watcher rang the bell. The ship belonged to the Zen Pirates. A group that's been harassing us for a while. And part of the reason for me marrying into the Big Mom Pirates.

"Raven! Get down below, Big Mom's subordinates should be here soon," Fedir said as Mother grabbed my arm to drag me down below.

I hid in the cargo part alone, everyone was going to make sure I didn't get a scratch on me, since I had to look beautiful. I stayed curled into a ball, as the fighting continued. I didn't understand why big Mom chose me. I wasn't as beautiful as my other siblings, I was mediocure. Plain looking - well. I held a hand over my left eye. Maybe I would have been beautiful if it wasn't for my left eye.

"Found you." one of the Zen pirates said as he peered over the barrel and grinned down at me.

I covered my mouth when a sword went through his chest, blood splattering over me. I fainted after that.

~ Time Skip A Week ~

I was being helped off the ship and onto dry land by Emma and Mira, my legs were still shaky and I fell ill from the pirates blood which held poison. I still wasn't completely healed, and I was also the weakest out of all of my siblings. Nothing made sense, not as to why Big Mom chose me over all of my other sisters. They were far more beautiful and healthy than I was.

"You really are weak," one of Big Mom pirates muttered,

"She has been since she was born, I'm sure you were all made aware of this the moment Big Mom had chosen her as her daughter - in - law." James said, as he moved to walk in front of me.

Fedir was walking behind me as Mother & Father walked in front of James. We were going to walk to Cake Castle to speak and meet with Big Mom before the wedding. The maids would take me after the 'meeting' to get me all dressed and ready. No one was allowed to accompany me, so I would be in their care.

"We're aware. Didn't think she would be this weak." Daifuku said as he walked beside Emma who was on my right.

"Sorry," I gave him a tired smile.

He didn't say anything, and looked forward. There were some cheers along the way, along with fan girling about how good looking my brothers and sisters were. There were even some questioning on who was going to marry Katakuri, if it was Emma or Mira - though they didn't say their names I knew who they were talking about.

The wedding wasn't very long, it went by pretty quick. However, the reception was going on for a long time and I was getting tired. I wasn't feeling well either, but I had to stay as long as Katakuri and Big Mom wanted. I had wanted to ask Big Mom why she chose me, but I didn't want to risk upsetting her.

"I want a lot of grandchildren from you Katakuri!" Big Mom said quite loudly, which caused me to blush.

"Yes, Mama," Katakuri said as he side looked at me.

"Of course, after little Raven is all healed up. Mama mama" Big Mom said as she looked at me,

"My apologizes, Big Mom." I gave her a closed eye smile.

"Call me Mama, your my daughter - in - law now! Mama mama!" Big Mom said happily,

"Yes, Mama,"

"Here you go miss," a server said as he placed Chocolate Pudding in front of me,

"I had the chef make it healthy style since you're so weak, Mama mama," Big Mom said cheerfully as she ate some wedding cake.

"Thank You Big Mom," I grinned as I took the spoon and was about to take a bite but Katakuri stopped me, which upset Big Mom.

"You. Take a bite." Katakuri ordered the server,

The guy clicked his tongue before lunging at me, I immediately slipped under the table to avoid the attack. Until I was told I could come out, I slipped back up and into my seat. My dress wasn't dirtied and there wasn't a big mess.

"Is your life always this targeted?" Smoothie asked from across from me.

"Yes, since I'm the weakest," I said as I took a bite of the newly brought pudding.

"That's going to change from here on out, with you being married to big bro Katakuri." Cracker grinned at me,

"I'm happy to hear that," I grinned cheerfully.
