I grinned at Garp and gave him a hug. He had bought me a new sword, it was beautiful. I knew I had to repay him someway, though. I didn't have any idea how. Since I already joined the Navy like he wanted, unlike my older and younger brother, they ended up becoming pirates. You could say we were on opposite sides. Though, I made a silent vow to never fight them. Even if it meant going against the people I trained, and served with.

I stood in front of Luffy, sword in front of me. It felt like it was just the both of us, worry, confusion, betrayal flashed across his face. Damnit. Damnit. What do I do? I tightened my grip on my sword. I couldn't attack him, and I couldn't let him get past me. It was my duty, I swore that I wouldn't keep them from executing Ace. I squeezed my eyes shut and I lowered my sword, I tilted my head back as I looked up at the sky.
"Go." I croaked out,
Luffy didn't say anything as he ran past me, with Ivankov behind him. I clenched my free hand into a tight fist. He's not going to make it. It's fine. He won't be able to save Ace. We'll win, and Luffy will retreat. Jinbei and Ivancov won't let him die. He - my thoughts were cut off by Sengoku announcing who Luffy's father was and that he was raised alongside Ace. My name not being mentioned at all, which meant that either he doesn't know or it's so there won't be any issue with my career. Though. I could hear the confusion of my co-workers, and the pirates. I squeezed my eyes shut, at the screams of those dying. The please of someone to save them. I dropped to my knees and I let go of my sword to cover my ears as I lowered to the ground. Pleading for them to shut up. I flinched when a hand was placed on my back. I sat up, and looked around. No one was around me, they were all fighting. I looked up at the sky. If they're about to die, I'll do something. Not before.

I shoved Ace out of the way, taking the hit from Akainu instead.
"Onesan!/Red!" both Ace & Luffy screamed.
"You-!" Akainu growled out in anger.
"I could have blocked your attack. This is my punishment." I gave him a closed eye smile, as blood dripped down my chin.
Luffy caught me before I could hit the ground, holding me as Ace & Marco attacked Akainu to keep him away from us.
"You can't die!" Luffy pleaded me,
"Sorry...I betrayed...them...I couldn't let you...or Ace die." I smiled weakly at him.
"C'mon Red, you're not allowed to die here. Weren't you going to become a big tough Marine like Jiji?" Ace said, as he kneeled by my side.
"Jiji...tell him I'm sorry. For leaving him alone..." I smiled weakly at Ace,

"AUTUMN!" Garp yelled, once her head rolled to the side.
He was being held back by Sengoku, as Luffy screamed and cried. His body breaking, the death of his big sister taking it's tole on him. Ace took Autumn from Luffy, and told Jinbei to take his brother away. Which he did, Ace stood up with his little sister in his arms. Marco picked up her sword off the ground, putting it in its sheath.
"Did you love her, - Yoi?" Marco asked him, as he put his hand on his shoulder.
"You can tell?" Ace grinned weakly at Marco, while tightening his hold on Autumn 's body.
"MARCO! ACE! HE'S GOING FOR LUFFY!" Izo yelled at the two, snapping their attention to where Akainu was gunning for Luffy who was already on the brink of death.
Marco moved first, with Ace behind him - still holding Autumn - he passed her over to Izo once he got close. Though, before he could run again. Coby stood in front of Akainu - after Akainu succeeded in getting a hit on both Jinbei & Luffy - giving his little speech on how they needed to stop. That it was pointless to continue the war. Akainu was going to kill him, but Shanks showed up and kept Akainu from killing Coby. The war was now over.
"Jiji. I'm taking her body," Ace said, while looking at his grandfather.
"Take care of it, you brat." Garp scoffed at him.
"Better than you ever did." Ace muttered, holding her body close to him as he went over to the Moby Dick. His heart breaking with every step he took.
