I had my arms wrapped around the Second Division Commander's neck as he had his arm wrapped around my waist. His body was tense as we made our way to where his ship was. We had been traveling for a week now; we stopped to rest once at an island since leaving the one he found me on. I knew he didn't like me and didn't want to trust me, but I was his brother's last hope, so to say. I hope we're not too late.
"ACE IS BACK WITH A GIRL!!" I heard someone on the deck holler,
A rope ladder was thrown down; I let go of Ace and started to climb it while he jumped up with the help of his flames.
"Don't help her." Ace snapped as someone was about to help me over to the side of the boat.
I rolled my eyes as the guy backed up; I slipped down and followed Ace to where Whitebeard was sitting. He stood next to Whitebeard's chair as he asked to get all of the Commanders together, so I waited, keeping my posture straight as I looked up at Whitebeard and no one else.
"You're supposed to be resting," Whitebeard said,
I turned to look at who he was talking to.
"I'm still a Commander, and I'm assuming this will be about me," Thatch, the Fourth Division Commander, said with a weak grin.
"Everyone's here, Ace; who is she?" Izo, the Sixteenth Division Commander, asked.
Thatch was placed in a wheelchair after Whitebeard ordered him to sit if he would be up here, listening to what Ace & I had to say.
"While I was out looking for Teach, I found her. She said she could heal Thatch. The villagers said she had good healing capabilities, so I figured I might as well." Ace scowled at me as he talked.
"You shouldn't be scowling at her then, idiot," Jozu, the third division commander, said,
"Let me introduce myself, and you'll see why he doesn't like me and isn't too happy that I can heal Thatch, the Fourth Division Commander," I said while looking at Thatch.
Everyone went silent; I placed my hand on my side, hiding my dagger, just in case someone decided to attack me. I lowered in a bow, looking down at the ground.
"Marshall D. Rogue, at your service." I stood back up as I felt the hostility from the Commanders.
The only one who wasn't emitting hostility was their captain.
"How are you related to Teach?" Blenheim, the Ninth Division Commander, glared at me.
"He's my Father; Mother fell in love with him. They did the deed; he left, and she had me. I swear on my mother's grave that I will make all of Thatch's ailments go away...and his injuries," I looked at Whitebeard as I talked.
"What do you want in return?" Whitebeard asked, no emotions on his face.
"...Leave my father alone. Don't go after him."
"He's the one who injured him in the first place! He's dying!" Izo snapped, gun pointed at my head.
"And I can save him. Make it like he was never injured in the first place. No scars." I said, looking Izo directly into his eyes.
He clenched his jaw and lowered his gun,
"What do you need?" a woman said from behind me,
I turned to look at her; she was pretty, well, would be if she didn't have bags under her eyes. She looked exhausted.
"Reiki -" Namur, the Eighth division commander, started,
"There's nothing else I can do. Even though she's a kid, she has a way to heal him. We've exhausted all other options; even if she's that bastard's kid, we can use her help." Reiki said, cutting Namur off.
