"How she look just like you on the day she was born, and gradually turned into her daddy twin just like that?" Rolling her eyes, Cassia glanced down at Skyla who had her bright green eyes staring up at her as she drank from her bottle. Shaking her head, Cassia put her attention back on Christian who she was also feeding in his high chair.
"She gave me like 2 days at the maximum, girl could've at least gave me a full 2 weeks or something." She mumbled the last part, trying her best to have attention on both of her kids. Not wanting to choke Skyla and not wanting to hurt Christian who was barely paying her any mind. Her phone being a distraction for him.
"One of us could feed one of them for you if you-."
"No, no, I have to practice for the days y'all are not here and it's only going to be me and all the kids." Cassia waved off, using Christian's bib to wipe his mouth a little bit while pulling Skyla's bottle out of her mouth.
She wasn't breastfeeding this time around, neither of the babies being able to latch on properly and she didn't feel like going through all of the hassle. So all she did was pre-pump the bottles and warm them up, making all of their lives easier. Especially so that she could feed both at the same time if they both ended up getting hungry at once.
"Why fatty over here not practicing?" Jamila pointed to Cepheus who was biting into his steak and cheese sub. Flicking his eyes up in her direction, he placed the sandwich down while holding up a finger to chew.
"I will never multitask like this, 1 person eating at a time if they here with me. Whoever cry first eat first, a closed mouth don't get fed now do it?" Cepheus tilted his head at Jamila who only rolled her eyes.
Standing to her feet, she did a small stretch while scanning her eyes around the living room to take in what she could see in her immediate view. Since she first seen their house, she was beyond amazed at how beautiful it was, everything never falling to surprise her with this being the 3rd time she'd been there.
"So if Sire is eating and Skyla starts crying, you're just going to make her wait...?" Glancing up, Cepheus slowly nodded his head while looking at her as if she was dumb.
"I'm sure you would much rather that than me dropping your children Cassia..." He trailed off, Cassia only rolling her eyes while feeding Christian his last spoonful of mashed potatoes just as Skyla was finishing up with her bottle. Placing it down next to Christian's bowl on the table part of his high chair, she adjusted Skyla's small body so her head rested on Cassia's shoulder in a burping position.
"Children, 5, wow. You remember when you never thought you would have kids, and now here you are?" Jamila placed her hands over her heart, watching Cassia who wiped at Christian's mouth while burping Skyla with one hand.
