Omniscient"You so damn beautiful, it's those dimples...I would be mad as fuck too if I was that nigga." Cepheus chuckled, his eyes glued to Cassia through the screen, but she wasn't smiling with him. "I like your hair too, you should keep it like that-."
"I'm honestly convinced you hate me and don't give a fuck about my mental well-being..." Cassia trailed off, all seriousness in her voice as she stared at the 'paused' FaceTime screen. Hearing a little bit of shuffling, she waited with a pout on her face until he came back into the camera now shirtless.
"Cassia what the hell are you talking about?" He mumbled, unclasping his Rolex from off of his wrist, still barely paying any attention to her.
"For one, you said you would only be gone a day and it's been 6, almost a full 7-."
"Baby I said it might be a week-:"
"I don't care. I miss you, I want to cuddle with you, I want to lay on you, I want to kiss you- you don't care that I've been in distress since you left me for dead over here?" Eyeing the phone briefly, Cepheus went back to what he was doing on the other end of the phone. It was around 3 in the morning where he was and he was tired and needed some sleep, but he knew he wouldn't be able to get any. His insomnia not working in his favor throughout the entire trip.
"I left you for dead?" He raised an eyebrow, reaching over to grab one of his pre-rolled blunts from the hotel room nightstand. Reaching into his pocket, he grabbed his lighter to spark it up, taking a long well-needed pull before exhaling out slowly.
"Yes...and now you're trying to seduce me through the phone knowing that I can't pounce on you right now- my hormones have been raging, I don't know what's happening. It's like as soon as you left I've been having dreams and- forget it, look say hi to Christian." She smiled brightly, picking up the wide awake baby to hold him close to the phone.
Taking another pull from his blunt, Cepheus eyed the screen, a small smile spread across his face seeing Christian giving him a gum filled grin. "This lil nigga the happiest baby I ever seen in my life, he get that from me."
Straightening out her face, Cassia moved him to rest in her lap, positioning him so his back leaned up against her so he could still see Cepheus. They sat on the living room floor because he was supposed to be doing tummy time, but she was caught off guard once Cepheus called her.
"You're such a liar, he doesn't-."
"Mommy!" She heard from upstairs, causing her to instantly throw her head back groaning.
"Mommy isn't here!" She called back, hoping Zahir was dumb enough to come down and check himself so she wouldn't have to go up there. Hearing Cepheus choke on his smoke, she turned her head to see his face going red of laughter. She giggled herself, his excessive laugh funny to her.
