"Seeing that the two of you are still together is still shocking to me, of course I love it beyond words. But how long has it been? 7, 8 years...and you guys are not only together, but engaged with 4 biological children?!" Nodding her head, Cassia reached over to pop Christian's pacifier into his mouth because he was beginning to get cranky.
"Yeah, but we broke up for like 6 out of those 8 years because of his reaction to what he assumed was your death. Which is why I've been avoiding him for the last couple of days because seeing him, and knowing that it took him nothing to get back onto that stuff was scary. And I'm not trying to be dramatic or anything like that but-."
"You're not being dramatic at all, a woman like me would have at least beat his ass or something like that. It was selfish, and Cepheus knows better than to be involving himself into things like that. And I won't ask for you to give me details on the things you all went through, but I do just want to ask you a question..." Nodding her head, Cassia crossed her legs while sitting back into the bed a little bit. Her eyes shifting from Rose to Zahir and Christian.
"Ask anything" Cassia smiled, her expression being mirrored by Rose.
"Well it's not even much of a question, but more of advice rather, considering I somewhat know the type of man he is. Because you all's relationship was toxic, in a sense of sexual pleasure happening while you were mentally tapped out of it right?" Nodding her head, Cassia rested her hands in her lap while shifting her eyes to the ground.
"Yeah, but things are still kind of like that though. Far from the same, but say I get upset with him for example, it's so easy for me to get sucked right back in because of you know, the sexual sense of things. If I wasn't currently in a state of healing physically because of the birth of the twins, I'm more than positive I would have allowed him to you know..."
"Mhmm, and it needs to stop. I've only been back for a couple days, but I've been able to observe some of the relationship. Now I don't want to intrude because it's not my place when you both are grown, but he has a hold on you that you've already understood. But I don't think you've understood the hold you do have on him." Moving a piece of hair from out of her face, Cassia rested her head on the palm of her hand.
"I mean I don't know-."
"You guys have a strong sexual connection, but you also have a strong emotional connection. One of you take the lead in both of those, him what I'm assuming is sexual and you emotionally. So use that to your advantage, be firm in your stances because hard drugs like that is unacceptable and absolutely should not be swept under the rug. At all." Rose spoke sternly to Cassia who nodded her head in understanding.
"But-."
"But he took it because he was overwhelmed? Cassia that means nothing baby, you cussed him out once you realized he did it right?" Nodding her head, Cassia took a deep breath with her eyes on Zahir who was helping Christian color.
