"Mila I don't even have anyone to walk me down the aisle, like I don't have anybody. A- and what if my makeup and hair and everything frizz and sweat out and-."
"Cassia...babe...you need to breathe. One of Cepheus' cousins is pregnant and couldn't walk again, which is perfect because Isaac will bring you down the aisle. You look gorgeous, your hair is gorgeous, your dress, your makeup, what's wrong?" Jamila sighed, rubbing Cassia's back gently as she underwent yet another anxiety attack. Something that she'd been having since the night prior, simply because of the many thoughts that circulated her head about today. To say she was terrified being an understatement for the way she really felt.
"I- w- what if when I get up there he realizes he doesn't want to do this anymore. Or what if someone else c- comes to ruin the day. Or what if he gets cold feet right now." She stuttered, her tissue being used to wipe at her tears before they could fall and ruin her makeup. Taking a deep breath, Jamila wanted to comfort her, but felt right now it would be better if another specific person took on that role.
"You sit right here and keep drinking your water, I'm gonna be back okay." She placed a hand on Cassia's thigh that was covered by her big dress. Glancing over at Mariah, she simply nodded her head because that was all she could do.
Moving a piece of her dark brown curls with light brown streaks out of her face, she leaned forward with her eyes staring down at her dress and engagement ring. The reality of this happening now finally settling in, and she couldn't be any more nervous that what she was. She felt she would be sick, not because she didn't want to do this, but because her mind was starting to do nothing but cloud with doubts. She wanted to think positively always, but it wasn't the case for times like these.
"Oh my baby, you look so beautiful." Turning her head at the sound of Rose's voice, Cassia quickly placed her water down so she could rush up to her soon to be mother in law. She said nothing, her arms wrapping around Rose in a tight hug that she desperately needed. Making sure not to crush Sire who Rose was holding.
"Thank you" She spoke just above a whisper once they finally pulled away, her eyes diverting over towards the long mirror to eye herself. Admiring the sparkles and style of the dress she chose, that surprisingly being the easiest thing out of this entire process.
"I can feel the tenseness in your body and the shakiness in your voice, so sit down so we can get that together." Rose pointed, Cassia only nodding her head while holding her hands out for her baby. Giving him a small kiss on his forehead once Rose handed him over, she smiled at how cute his little tuxedo was.
"Your daddy's twin papa." She mumbled once sitting down, making sure to fix his small bow tie. The feeling of one of her kids instantly bringing her a little bit of peace. Sire's bright brown eyes only staring up at her as he sucked on his pacifier.
