Omniscient"Daddy, why did you dye your hair blonde?" Crystal asked from the backseat to Cepheus who slowed down at a red light.
"...Because I got bored."
"Mommy, do you like when he's blonde better or when he does his normal hair-."
"You don't ever ask me my opinion when she change her hair every other day, the hell. And she like blonde better, we already been over this." Cepheus rolled his eyes in annoyance to Crystal who only sucked her teeth.
"I was asking mommy, not you...but I think we should play a game!" She clapped excitedly, just as Cepheus took a sharp right turn down one of the dark streets. Peering out of her window, Cassia smiled at the Christmas lights that still decorated some of the houses from the holiday being just a couple days prior.
"You got 4 siblings in this car, they all sleep, why you want to be different so damn bad?" Cepheus spoke in annoyance while glancing up at her through the rear view mirror. Rolling her eyes again, Crystal glanced at the twins who laid in their car seats asleep on either side of her.
"Okay, first question. Why did you have so many kids- this isn't even just a game, this is also a homework assignment so you have to answer completely honestly. Now answer." Crystal smiled while reaching down to grab her iPad to type the answers in.
Glancing over at Cepheus, Cassia waved her hand for him to go, since he was the one who continuously impregnated her. Clearing his throat, Cepheus switched on his high beams while speeding down the isolated road.
"Well, here's the thing right...the concept of creating kids is one I'm sure you know of. So- alright, say you got a favorite type of food. You want that shit any chance you can get, and when you get that motherfucker, you gon devour it every single time, especially when you hungry as hell. So think of it as, I'm always hungry as hell and your momma is my favorite type of food-."
"There's truly something wrong with you." Cassia shook her head, hearing Crystal gagging in the back.
"That didn't even answer my question, but I don't care to know anymore. So next question, what do you both do for a living? I know what mommy does, and I think I know what daddy does but I'm not going to say." Crystal zipped her lips with her fingers while throwing out the key.
"Exactly, I raised you so damn good. But tell them I own a club and leave it at that, cause I'm sure a lot of them teachers done went in and got a lil-."
"Next question Crystal, and Cepheus how far is this place at. I just want to sleep." Cassia sighed, rolling her window all the way down to allow a breeze to fill the car.
"I don't know, 10 minutes or sum...maybe." He mumbled the last part, never releasing his foot from the gas.
They were on their way to New Jersey, which they had been driving to for 4 hours already. Because Rose didn't have her old house, she did have one in New Jersey that contained a lot of her old stuff. Cepheus dropping her there a day prior, and they were only going down so they could stay the night and come back with her the next day. Since Cepheus needed her to babysit the kids for New Years.
