Taeyeon's Apartment, July 18, 2014.

It's been months since Baekhyun and I started dating, and I can honestly say that it's been one of the best times of my life. He's really trying to prove himself to me, but he doesn't have to because I like him just the way he is. And I'm still hoping that one day we'll be able to go out and be seen together without any problems. I'd like everyone to know that we're together.

But right now, I'd like to surprise him by showing up at his apartment because he's always the one who pays me visits when he has time. Now it's my turn, and I miss him so bad.

“Where are you going?” Yoona asked as I emerged from my bedroom, all dressed up.

Before responding, I bit my bottom lip, “Baekhyun's place?”

We both know it's still dangerous to go outside, but she can't blame me for wanting to go to my boyfriend's apartment. Yes, boyfriend. After our first date, we went on a few more dates until he said he could wait for us to be official, but I don't want to wait any longer.

“But aren't you supposed to be resting today because you're filming a new music video tomorrow?”

“I know,” I sighed as I pleaded with her. “But I already miss him, and I'd like to surprise him.”

She locked her gaze on me for a brief moment before moving on. “All right, all right, I'll drive you there.”

“Really? Thank you, I owe you one!” I mumbled as I hugged Yoona tightly.

“Sure, anything for you and Baekhyun,” she said, grabbing her car keys. “We must, however, be more careful.”

We went down to my apartment building's parking lot and drove off to Baekhyun's place, without being suspicious and all. She parked blocks away from the building, so no one will notice us.

“Thank you very much, Yoona,” I said quietly.

“Be careful, I'll return for you later,” she warned, her eyes narrowing. “Or is it possible that Baekhyunnie will drive you home?”

I shrugged, my smile hidden. “Maybe.”

“You're blushing, eonnie,” she snidely observed.

“No, I'm not!” I chuckled as I stepped out of the car, trying to hide my expression from her.

She waved goodbye as she drove away from the side of Baekhyun's apartment building. It's already past 9PM, and I'm not sure whether he's still at home or not. Before entering the building, I let out a deep sigh and adjusted my sunglasses and jacket hood. I nervously knocked on his door as I approached his apartment, and he answered it seconds later.

He looked at me as if he had just seen a ghost or something in front of him. “Taeyeon?”

“Hey,” I greeted with a controlled smile, concerned that he might not want me in his apartment.

“Hey,” he greeted back, leaning on the frame door.

“I'm not interfering with anything, am I?”

“No, you aren't, but may I ask what are you doing here, Miss Kim Taeyeon?”

“Surprising you?” I asked absentmindedly. “I mean, tomorrow is your concert, right?”

“Right. Please come in,” he motioned me to come in, still grinning.

“Nice apartment, huh,” I commented as we entered his room. His things are everywhere.

“Sorry, I didn't get the chance to clean up,” he then scratched the back of his head. “I didn't know you would show up to my place tonight.”

“It's fine,” I chuckled, sitting down on the couch.
