After that Halloween party, departure from the agency, and signing a new contract with the new agency, everything appears to have returned to normal, but something is still missing. Since Taeyeon and I are no longer under the same company, we no longer see each other as frequently as we used to, which is sad, frustrating, and causes my overthinking to occur occasionally.
However, Ravi and I are still friends, which is surprising given that we're practically enemies because we both like the same woman. I still haven't responded to his question from the party, but isn't it better if I just show it?
“I don't think I can do what we talked about a few days ago,” I admitted as I nervously looked at Suho, who was standing by my bedroom door as I finished packing my last baggage for our vacation.
As he crossed his arms, he let out a long, deep sigh. “Baekhyun, we were in this situation seven years ago, you were having second thoughts about confessing or not, and what happened? You still confessed, and you and Taeyeon became together, right? There's nothing wrong if you try it again.”
“It's not the same situation anymore, hyung,” I say, sitting on the edge of my bed, pointing out that nothing is the same anymore. “I know it, and you know it; we were friends and really did have feelings for each other at the time, but now? We're not as close as we were, and we're like ex lovers, so what if—”
“Don't!” he yelled, not in an angry tone, but to prevent me from asking what was on my mind out loud.
“Don't what, hyung? I'm just saying—”
He raised his hand to interrupt me while speaking in a calm tone. “Just don't, Baekhyun. Enough with your what ifs. Just trust yourself and trust what you truly believe is the right thing to do, but for me, you should go with admitting you still love her or at least show it, show your true intentions whether to stay as her friend or become her boyfriend… again.”
Should you remain her pal or become her boyfriend? Why should I choose between the two when I can be both? I'm kidding, I still haven't decided what I'm going to do once we get to California.
“But then again, the choice is still yours, Baekhyun,” he added, shrugging.
Today is our flight to California; we are not delayed in any way, SNSD sunbaenim shifted the date so that we could all arrive at the resort at the same time, but we still flew separately. As soon as we arrived at the airport, we went straight to our waiting area, where SNSD and VIXX were already waiting for us, and Taeyeon and Ravi were sitting next to each other, talking as we arrived.
“Ouch,” Don't worry, I'm here now, and I'll show Taeyeon that I still care for and love her, or maybe not?
“We are so excited for this vacation; thank you so much for allowing us to come,” Leo exclaimed joyfully.
We're all relieved to have some alone time, and we've all missed the Jung sisters. We also decided to leave as soon as we arrived so that we could arrive at the resort on time. When we arrived, our other friends were already there: the other SNSD members who had also left our former agency, SHINee, Red Velvet, and Heechul. Our other hoobaes are unable to join us because they are too busy promoting their comebacks.
The Jung sisters then led us to our respective rooms first. Of course, Sehun is my roommate, and as soon as we were alone, he began blabbing about the plan for me to ask Taeyeon out again, as if it were the easiest thing to do.
