Today is another day of everyone's hectic schedules, but now all of SM Entertainment's artists will be gathering in Japan for a company concert. The dating issue was more likely to receive less attention now than in previous weeks, but even though everything is fine now, Baekhyun and Taeyeon's relationship appears to have changed after their dating issue was widely publicized.
When they first became an official couple, they had a lot of I love you's and I miss you's, but now they have a lot of what if's, and I'm sorry's. Their attitude and love for each other appear to be fading by the day, but they still care about each other, though they have a harder time expressing it now than they did before.
“BYUN BAEKHYUN!” Sehun yelled to wake his sleeping brother as he entered his room and quickly walked up to him, shaking him aggressively.
Baekhyun groaned in annoyance, turning to the other side of his bed, ignoring his method of waking him up, and asked, “What? What do you want?”
“Wake up, manager-nim said he needs you to come with him to the company,” Sehun continued shaking him before grabbing the pillow on the side and repeatedly hitting Baekhyun's arm.
When Baekhyun heard him say manager, he jumped to his feet and looked up at Sehun. “Why?”
“Mr. Lee wants to talk to you about something important, and hey, we're about to fly to Japan, and you're still not packing your things,” Sehun shakes his head as he throws the pillow at him and starts walking towards the door before stopping and asking, “Hyung, did you and Taeyeon split up?”
“No—”
“Baekhyun, you're finally awake; get yourself ready, we're going to the company,” Suho burst into his room, all dressed up for the airport fashion, just like Sehun, he had just noticed.
He almost forgot that they had a concert in Japan scheduled for tomorrow and that they had a flight to catch later. When the two exited his room, he was perplexed by what Sehun had asked him, so he decided to check his social media, and the first thing he read was… A lie.
“According to reports, EXO's Byun Baekhyun and Girls' Generation's Kim Taeyeon have split up due to their hectic schedules…”
“Did you and Taeyeon split up?” he asked, repeating what Sehun had asked him before asking himself, “Did we?”
As much as he wanted to call Taeyeon, he knew she wouldn't answer right away, and he needed to prepare for what Mr. Lee wanted and why the sudden meeting. As he stepped out of his room after getting ready, the first question he heard EXO members ask him was the same question Sehun had asked him earlier.
“No…” he replied hesitantly, but he knew he and Taeyeon had never discussed breaking up.
But that's the case; they haven't spoken about anything else since the article was published. Every time they get a chance to talk, it's always full of sorry's and I miss you's, unlike in the past months when they are happy even if they haven't seen each other in a long time, they still open up to each other, but now it's different.
“We're still together, but barely talking and seeing each other, but I don't remember anything that we broke up because that ain't going to happen…” he was still unsure about that, so he added, “Well, I hope so… Who in the world published that article again?”
Sehun sighed and rolled his eyes. “You know who put that out there.”
It was the same media that caught them together in the car, but Baekhyun isn't concerned with that right now; he just wants to know where they heard that nonsense and who told them.
