Multiversal Swarm

kingdom of dirt part 8

I was snapped out of my daze by the sound of the ground shattering beneath us! I looked over to see the nothing man pinning the queen to the ground! Soki was on them before I could swarm!

The nothing man put a spear like arm through sokis shoulder! He held him up as soki screamed in pain. Mori attempted to get up but his body was too damaged! I reached the standoff and manifested into a kick! The nothing man jumped back so fast the shockwave blew us all back! Except the queen who just got driven into the ground!

She crawled to her feet and stared at me as I reached out my hand to help. She took it and wrapped her arm over my shoulder. I supported her weight while she spoke to me. She was direct but soft at the same time.

"This isn't a creature many have fought. The last king was only one to come out alive but even he couldn't beat this thing. He didn't even land a hit..." She spat blood and gave me another look.

"I'm sorry I have to put this one you Jesse.... But I have to use my last ability. You should know that I'm sorry..." As she spoke her skin grew gray...

Her eyes rolled back in her skull, her hair became thin and gray. Her teeth sharpened and lengthened to the size of fangs! A black line appeared across her face going down to her wicked smile!

"You'll have to face me and this creature. What's about to ensue is a three way battle." She grew taller. She was tall enough I stopped supporting her weight and stepped back.

"A battle... You mustn't lose!" She let out a roar! It was like nails on a chalkboard. She swiped at me and sent me flying! As I flew back I saw the nothing man appear in front of me!

He brought a hammer like hand down on my chest! I hit the ground so hard I flattened out and a bunch of nanites flew out in a pool! I reformed the destroyed parts of my body and sat up to see the queen monster was recklessly swiping at the nothing man! He was dodging and swiping with bladed arms! Blue blood flew from her wounds! She screamed so loud soki and Mori grabbed their ears and fell over convulsing! All hell's broken lose and I'm powerless to stop it!

That's when I realized something... I feel strong again. My fatigue was gone! Since I killed the cloaked man I've felt close to 100 percent. What happened? I blacked out and killed that guy.

I got to my feet looking at my hands. I reformed one of my hands into my blade arm. I hate it when I have to use this. It's like I lose a personal Battle everytime I have to. Not as much as I hate the name that's been given to it.

"Grasscutter" I whispered to myself.
I'm sorry....

I charged forward to the duo who were locked in a deep battle of slashes and punches! I kicked the queen into the wall and swiped at the nothing man but he was just too fast! He whipped around behind me and slashed with a pointed arm! I blocked it with my own and reached up to grab him by the neck! For a split second he seemed to quiver! He vanished and delivered a kick to my back that bent me in half before spiking me into the ground!

I swarmed above him and rocketed down at him? I reformed my other arm too! I cross slashed at his head and he vanished again! I blocked the queens renegade punch as i reformed one of my hands!

I grabbed her by the face and hurled her towards the nothing man! He shouldered her in the back and blood flew from her mouth! I dashed in and delivered a haymaker hook with my normal hand! She rocketed back into the building rubble. Soki jumped towards the nothing man!

"SOKI DONT YOURE-" I didnt have time to finish... The nothing man cleaved soki in two at the waist! His torso fell messily apart from his lower half! His eyes wide in shock!

The world seemed to bend inwards. I saw the world freeze. It was almost like...

"Kill everything" Extra said behind me...

I let out a scream as my swarm came to a boil instantly! I wasn't partially manifested either... I have no idea where these were coming from. The nothing man looked in my direction. He had no emotions but I could tell he was curious. He'd never seen a creature like me before.

The queen broke from the rubble. She saw her dead son and her body grew whiter and her claws grew longer. She looked almost like a corpse at this point! She burst forward at the nothing man! I delivered a shot to her face before she could reach the man!

"HE'S MINE BITCH!" I shouted.

She grabbed my fist and with her other hand put there claws through my chest! It didn't hurt.... Just pissed me off further! I WONT FAIL HERE AGAIN! I brought my fist back and screamed as I punched her chest! It sent her flying! The nothing man appeared behind me!

I turned to meet his gaze! I felt the pure power from just my simple stare! The nothing man remained! He slashed at me and I dodged! I had the advantage now! I jabbed my sword arm forward....

I got kicked into a wall by the queen before it could land! One look at her and I could tell she wasn't there anymore! This creature wasn't the queen... Just a burden!

I turned her on top of me as the building came down on top of us! I swarmed out and she burst out like nothing! I delivered a shot to her but she grabbed my fist! She opened her mouth and a glow from the bottom of her throat... I heard a low whirling sound as the glow grew brighter.
Oh shit!

I desperately tried to free myself as the glow reached critical in her mouth! This is going to hurt really fucking bad!

I was right. She blasted me point blank with a energy blast! My vision returned and I was laying flat on my back in a canyon that seemed to extend miles. I coughed and rolled to my stomach.

A ground exploded next to me! The queen rushed at me and I swarmed above her! I slashed her as I came down! She fell to the ground! I speared her hand making it useless! With my other hand I twisted her arm and broke it at the elbow! She screamed as I did it!

I started punching her as hard and fast as I could with my normal hand! I hit her with so many back and front hands I lost count! I got to my feet and stared down at her. She was starting to return to normal! Her hair turned golden again. Her pretty face was swollen and bloody now.

I took a moment to breathe. It was cut short by the nothing man punching me into the blast clearing! I tumbled over myself and finally came to a stop on my face. I picked myself up and looked to see him rush me!

I got to my feet and swarmed right in front of him in a kick! He ducked and punched me in the nuts! My eyes bugged out as he grabbed my leg and slammed me down into the ground! He delivered several hard shots to my face! I almost blacked out when he stomped my head into a nanite pool!

I exploded into a swarm! I reformed away from him and I knew I was at my limit. My adrenaline rush from earlier had worn off with that blast from the queen and me snapping earlier. I was starting to feel woozy. This was it.

We rushed towards each other! He stabbed at me with a pointed arm and I dodged to the side! Time slowed again. My blade arm demanifested into a normal hand! Nonono not now!

I felt a hand put something into mine... I glanced up for a split second only to see Sigrun clasping the sword in my hand! Ours eyes met and she didn't have to say the words for me to hear them...

"DO IT NOW" Sigrun flew into a wall next to her. She was going to fast!

I Slashed downwards and cut a huge slice across his chest! As I did it I heard a sound that can only be discribed as shrill in my head! Before I could line up another the nothing man exploded into a roar of screams and movement! He was bouncing around the area like he was a bouncy ball! Anything he hit was almost completely destroyed.

He soared into the distance and I fell on my ass as I looked around at the destruction around me. The world started to fade from my vision.

"Sigrun..." I said as my faded out.

"I'm here Jesse... You saved us"

That was the last thing I heard before the world went black.
