Multiversal Swarm

kingdom of dirt part 7

I reached the gate and leaned against the entrance wall. The shadow creature's were all gone. They must have been tied to one of those two. Probably ShadowMaster. There were people laying dead and some were injured but tending to the seriously wounded.

"Jesse?!" A soft voice said behind me. I turned to see Sigrun slowly walking towards me.

She was holding her arm which was mangled and broken. Both her wings were wrapped around it glowing s green glow. Her eye was swollen shut, her lip busted and still dripping blood. Her armor was totalled. She's been fighting something strong....

"My god what happened?" I said reaching for her. I winched in pain as I brought her in for a hug.

"Their too strong... I don't think you can help now! They're going to kill my mother! I-" I put my hand on her shoulder.

"Sigrun! I may be hurt as well but I'm going to go help you're mom. I don't think I'll be much help but it'll be better then nothing. Is you're arm healing?" I said looking at her arm.

She looked shocked. She stared at me with a weird expression.

"Yes..." She looked down at her feet.

"Good. When it gets healed I need you to back me up. I trust you to know what I'm thinking." She reacted shocked again. Her eyes wide and jaw open. I smiled at her one last time before I dispersed into my swarm.

That small break was enough to get me back to fighting shape but I've I have a prolonged battle with a tough opponent... This should be fun. I swamred towards the sound of battle. What I found was not too good.

Soki and Mori were getting thrown back by a man in dark robes. I couldn't see his face but his hands lit up when he sent them flying.

My fair queen was swinging at something that it hurt to look at. His form looked to be made of.... Uhhh how do I describe this?

His form was like an absence of space and time. It was very obviously a humanoid, a decent sized one. Probably 7 foot tall, But where he was at that point was just.... gone. The only thing that existed in that space was a two purple dots.

She was slashing at him and he was moving fast enough that I couldn't keep track. He punched at her and she dodged but slid away on her side. She wiped blood from her mouth and rushed the robed figure!

The figure held up his hands. She lifted off the ground and her sword broke from her grip! It soared around in front of her! It was going to Pierce her heart! Mori appeared in front of the queen.

"I've got it mom...."

Soki appeared in front of Mori!

"You'll always be reckless Mori... I'm sorry" the blade was getting closer!

Blood flew through the air in a matter of seconds! However the blood coming out wasn't from one of the twins... It was coming from the hand of that robed fuckface! I swarmed my leg over just in time to kick the sword back at him! The sword buried in his hand down into his forearm!

He screamed and fell to his knees. His hand was sliced right down the middle! All three looked at me in shock as I finished forming in front of them. The queen smirked and dashed over to the nothing man. She engaged him with fury! He could just dodge.

"We could use your help man!" Soki said panting. Mori looked rough.

"Is he okay?" I said looking at Mori. He looked about ready to drop.

"Slavnir hit him with a shot to the face that dropped the castle on top of him" oh so that's how the castle fell.

"Who's Slavnir? Also who's that guy?" I said pointing to the man cursing at his new lack of a functional hand.

"Slavnir's that void of space and time jack off over there shit wrecking our mom. We haven't been able to hit him let alone figure out what to do to kill him." He said pointing his thumb over his shoulder at the fight behind him.

"And this guy has telekinesis. He seems squishy but he's fast as well. That's the first hit we've landed but we've been close.... I need a breather." Mori said kneeling down.

"Yeah I he seems hurt... HEY cultist dude. Did that hurt?" I asked smirking

"FUCK YOU" He shouted at me.

"Listen guys I fought ShadowMaster and glascar and won but they did a number on me. I'm nowhere near full strength." Soki reacted with a smirk.

"Of course you did. This guy's shouldn't put up to much of a fight." Has he never watched a horror movie before?

The robed figure started to form bumps and ripples under his robes.

"You shit stains will know agony when I send you're souls to have their wills shattered by my magic's!" He shouted as his robe floated up revealing he was also a void in space! Black tendrils shot from his armholes and before I knew it....

I opened my eyes but I wasn't in the battle. I was floating in a void. I was looking at a vast infinity of stars! I was in awe! I've seen sights like this before but they always make me stare.

"Jesse" said a voice said from all around me. A figure walked up to me. I looked over my shoulder...

"Who are you?"

"Pl...please" I had my hands around the voids neck. I looked in his emerald green dots for eyes. I leaned close to the mass. My nanites swarm was raging around me!

"This won't hurt." I squeezed as hard as I could! The black mass separated from it each other at the neck! I heard a screech like nails on a chalkboard! The black nothing turned into a goo made of black nothing. The robes fell to the ground.

I looked behind me to see soki and Mori staring at me with bewilderment.

"Guess I lied"

Soki sat down next to Mori with a scared look on his face.

"What the fuck are you man?"

I looked at my hands as they fully reformed.

"I don't know"
