Multiversal Swarm

Foundation part 3

"It's starting. She's going to wake up soon and when she does I will not hold back what has just happened. This world will unravel" The way he said that last part set a chill down my spine.

This girl is going to get me killed I just know it. I looked back at her. Her eyes opened and a wave of flowers started to bloom across the field. She sat up and looked at the two of us. She had stars in her eyes.

"What happened?" She seemed... scared.

"It's alright. your going to be alright. I promise we won't hurt you." He said out stretching his hand. She took it and he helped her stand up. Her legs were shaky like a newborn deer.

"This man here is going to help you. He'll take car of you after I show you what I need to show you." He said this as she looked up at me. Her eyes made me feel distant from my body.

"What will you show me?" She said looking back to him. He knelt down to her eye level.

"The ways." That's it? Just "the ways"? That's cryptic.

She looked back at me and asked me something that I wanted to vanish as soon as she did.

"Will you protect me from the 0-5 war?"

THE WHAT?!?! O-5 war? Did what just happen in site 17 have such consequences. At least I didn't shoot  that dude. That was the bitch I met a while ago. Something was wrong here. What was she talking about.

As I thought it over it hit me. She has powers beyond my understanding. This little girl could be seeing glimpses of the future or people directly effected by the world around her. This little girl needed guidance. I'm not that man though. I couldn't just tell her that though. I knelt down to her eye level as well. I placed a hand on her shoulder which she winced at until she left I was just placing it there.

"I will do everything in my power to keep you safe. You can trust me." I said this with a smile.

She smiled wide and gave me a hug. Her spirits changed almost immediately. Had this girl never had someone to care for her? Actually I KNOW she hasn't.

"I need you to step through this portal and I'll show you my ways. Jesse has some things to deal with on the outside. When I feel your ready I'll send you to him." He said this as a portal to a white void opened. She looked back at me questioningly. I nodded and she stepped through.

Her word were still bouncing around in my head. "O-5 war" What does that mean for all of us?

"I see you've caught on to what has happened?" The old man said folding his arms.

"I think I have... And I don't like it. What did she mean by 0-5-" he cut me off.

"You'll have to find out for yourself. You have your work cut out for you Jesse.... I just hope you have the will to do what you have to. The man killed in front of you wasn't 0-5... He was the foundations administrator" oh fucking shit...

"Am I going to have to see this world fall to ruins again? I don't want to see that happen twice!" He shook his head in disapproval.

"You've seen worlds crumble before. This one isn't any different." As he said this my head dropped. He noticed my body language.

"Or do you have something to lose now?" He knew the answer. So I don't give him one. I just looked at him and gave him the only order I really could.

"Send me back" he smirked and waved his hand.

My eyes shot open and I was back in room. The blood on my face had returned and the men around the room were getting up. As they stood up I was still getting my bearings. The girl was gone. That was to be expected.

The men took the chance to start shooting at me with the weapons they still had. As I jumped through the broken window I swarmed into the door! It slammed into the wall and I swarmed down the hall! This place was a labyrinth and I needed to get out of here.

As I broke into the main lobby I swarmed out the open door! I reformed at a fast looking car with a researcher getting out of it. His keys were still in his hand. I punched him in the face leaving him laying on the ground as I hoped in and started the engine. This was going to be messy but I can't stay with the foundation anymore. Too many enemies were just made.

I peeled out and gunned the motor as I flew into the fence! The car barely made it through! The top of the car was ripped off as the guards opened fire at me! I flew down to road at top speed. I drifted the corner and time seemed to slow as I saw what laid ahead!

A full convoy in a special truck. I knew this truck belonged to Samsara! Cyborgs with advanced capabilities which would give even me trouble. I straightened the car out just to see the truck release two motorcycles!

Two riders on each one raced towards me. This car was fast but they had tech that far outclassed mine. Before I could get to the next corner, the riders were on me. Both the back riders jumped to my car!.

I twisted the wheel and I went into a drift! This wasn't good. These guys can kill me if I'm not careful! That's when I had a brilliant plan. I spun the wheel the other way and spiraled out of control! The car crashed into one of the motorcycles! I swarmed out of the car before it flew through the guard rail and sent the samsara ops plummeting into the ground below!

I swarmed my leg out and relieved the other one of his vehicle! He skipped across the ground as I flew down the road.

This motorcycle was FAST. I was flying down the road and soon I was confident they'd lost me. I'd traveled two state lines in under an hour. Even the foundation would have to be hard pressed to follow my trail.

I pulled the bike into a hangover on a small log cabin. I needed supplies and there was one dude who could get it for me. Scp-1879 is a salesman who appears in doorways. Or more like he invades homes trying to get weird shit from people. He's also an asshole.

I've found that he keeps an eye on me somehow. I'm guessing whoever he works for has an eye for me more like it but Ive seen 1879 enough to hate him.

I opened the door to the cabin... After I smashed the lock.

Surprisingly and not surprisingly, he was there. This was awkward because that's not how this anomaly works. But I guess when higher powers are in play....

"Hello Jesse! I'm here to-" I'm not here to play games.

"Shut the fuck up. I'm the one making deals here not you. And if you think you are then you get to be the one to tell your boss you had the chance to get the one possible thing he'd want from me. So like I said: shut the fuck up and I'll give him what he wants in return for supplies."

I could tell he was PISSED!

"And WHAT would that be?" He said somewhat mockingly.

I smiled. When I answered his eyes went wide.

"Information about other universes..."
