The one thing she craved she couldn't have, it made her want to cry and now even with Kian's arms wrapped around her she still cried. Kian gently stroked her hair listening to her sob quietly and sniffle, he wishes he could allow himself to make her feel better because he knew the three words she wanted to hear would fix a hell of a lot of problems in their relationship. Could it even be called a relationship, he didn't know but it was deeper than just sex now, people knew that they were going through something and he didn't know how she would take it when they got into work later. Would she lash out, would she feel embarrassed by him because he knew she felt hurt by him and the way he was with her. All she wanted was for him to stick around, for him to hold her forever, she wanted it, needed it except now it was more than need if that was even possible. Why was she trying to force this on him, it was hardly fair. They didn't know each other, not really, all they knew was each other's bodies, they knew every nook and cranny of the way their bodies worked but they didn't know each other, really. Did she want to get to know him, yes, because she loved him but she didn't know if he wanted to know her.

"Ask me anything" she rolls into his arms draping a leg over his body as his fingers run over her back, he traces her scar and she smiles to herself

"Do you want to have sex?" he smirks and she looks up at him with a disapproving look "What?"

"Stupid question, not right now though, I'm happy just lying here" she responds and Kian nods kissing her on the top of the head "You're trying to wear me out, Madani"

"Oh come on Naylor" he brushes his fingers down her back gently and she hums draping an arm across his chest "We do need to get to work..."

"I don't want to move from here" she whispers and Kian smirks slightly looking at how comfortable she looked with her eyes closed "Last night was..."

"Amazing," he says quietly, she laughs and kisses his chest before sliding onto his body, he smirks at her "Changed your mind, Naylor?"

"Hardly," she says sliding her legs on either side of his body, she rests her head on her hand to hold it up so she could look at him in the eyes "Could you do something for me today?"

"Depends what it is..." he trails off, Jac sighs dramatically and leans forward to kiss him softly on the lips "Fire away Naylor"

"Take the day off" she smirks and Kian just laughs slightly before looking at her serious expression "I'll take the day off if you take the day off"

"And why do I need to take the day off?"

"Because...I want to spend the day with you considering we didn't get to go to that fancy restaurant last night on our first date" she raises her eyebrows, Kian brushes his fingers over her cheekbones before leaning in to kiss her gently "I'll take that as a yes?"

"You will indeed"

At the end of the day he had to try, he would be going back on his word otherwise and her face was melting him and he was never going to admit that...

It was the way he made her breakfast, it wasn't enough though, it never would be. She ate it all though and it was all nice and domesticated but it wasn't enough. Jac knew what she wanted, maybe she was just hard to please now because her mind was so set on what she wanted. It was almost as if he fit in as well, in her home, the way he knew where everything was, it was just magical and filled her with warmth. Never did she want to let this go but she couldn't tell what the future held. Kian was smiling at her over breakfast and she was smiling at him back, neither of them had even said that they weren't going to work and she didn't want to turn her phone on, neither did Kian. Whether disciplinary action would be taken on both of them it didn't matter because they had each other, they both realised that now. It was the way he was watching her get dressed, he smiled as she pulled on a dress, he smirked at her and stood in front of her brushing a strand of her hair behind her ear, he kissed her softly on the lips. He suggested he went home to go and put on a suit, she agreed and then he left. Jac was sitting on the edge of the bed, she was smiling at a picture of herself and Emma, gosh why was life so hard. Her heels tapped along the kitchen floor as she poured herself a glass of water, she shook her head and sighed slightly as the doorbell went off, she opened the door to Kian standing there with a black rose in his hands, she smirked and shook her head at the gesture taking the rose into her hands and holding it between her fingers as she twirled it around.
