Somehow the tap dripping was more interesting than listening to Kian wittering on about how he wanted to support her, how he was going to be there for her, how he was going to be the best partner - well he didn't exactly say the latter but she could tell he thought it. Her finger was tracing the rim of the mug she was holding, she sighed and raised it to her mouth before taking a generous gulp of the decaffeinated coffee that Kian inflicted on her that morning telling her to mind the risks and understandably she was left seething over the whole situation leading her to get up and get dressed. Unfortunately for her, she didn't have the luxury of going into work and immersing herself in her job but overall it was better than Kian waiting on her hand and foot. Just as he was about to leave she got up and went into the kitchen, she grabbed herself a glass of water and downed it causing Kian to frown as she placed the glass angrily on the counter.
"Hormones getting to you already"
"Hardly" she snaps and Kian raises his eyebrows at her before turning back to where he was making himself lunch for the day "You're going to be late at this rate-"
"You need to stop worrying your pretty little head-"
"Patronising as fuck" she states before strolling into the lounge, she sits on the sofa and puts the TV on, Kian follows her and shows her his phone "What's that?"
"It's a clinic, in town, I think this one's best as they give you someone to talk to before you go ahead with the termination"
"What?" she questions blankly "Why would I want to talk to someone?"
"They're just there to ask questions, help you find the right way forward. We can talk together or alone, it's up to you. I Just want to make sure you're making the right choice"
"The right-" she stops herself especially at Kian's look, he had his eyebrows raised "I'll think about it"
"Good," he says kissing her on the head, she sighs and bites the inside of her cheek "If you need me, call me"
"Will do" she salutes and he rolls his eyes at her obvious sarcasm, her eyes focus on the TV ahead and soon enough the front door shut causing her to breathe out a sigh of relief, now all she had to do was think of a plan...

Maybe she could lie, maybe she could actually say that she rang the clinic today and they had a cancellation and because she was no longer working she went for it desperate not to be 'pregnant' any longer. She shuddered at the thought, the thought of all of her lies to Kian, no she couldn't do this to him, not another massive lie that could wreck them, granted the current one already had the ability to do that but this time she wasn't going to let another one hurt him, this one was enough when the truth eventually came out. The day was long, either way, Jac was worried and she had hyped herself up to tell Kian that it was a false positive, that these things happen and all that but as soon as Kian came through the door, something changed, he seemed kind of sad and upset.
"Kian?" she frowns and he sighs rubbing his neck "Is everything ok?"
"It's just been a long day" he admits and Jac nods slowly turning her attention back to the TV, she knew he would tell her when he was ready "You've already eaten?"
"Yeah sorry, I was hungry and you were taking your time, I left you some in the oven though"
"Thanks" he takes the plate out of the oven before sighing and grabbing a fork "How has your day been?"
"Uh yeah, ok I suppose" she shrugs and Kian nods "So why do you seem so sad?"
"I had a paeds consult" he responds and Jac nods slowly biting her lip "A baby would you believe... and I couldn't do it, I guess it's just bothering me. I'll be ok tomorrow"
