It was the last night of my first year at Hogwarts and I was sitting outside in the courtyard on a blanket. Hogwarts' students were having a night picnic and I sat with my best friends; Draco Malfoy, Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger."It's way too cold to be out here," Hermione whined. Ron rolled his eyes while me and Harry laughed.
"Go on inside and warm up by yourself then," Draco snapped. Hermione sighed. "I just don't know why we have to be out here when the Great Hall is perfectly fine," she said, crossing her arms.
"Hey, how about a game to keep your mind off things?" I suggested. Harry and Ron frowned. "Y/n, no offense, but I feel like you purposely throw the grapes at my eye when playing Catch the Grape," Ron said.
Harry nodded in agreement. I laughed. "No, no, not that game. I meant something like truth or dare."
Eyes widened but immediately turned to excitement. "Sure. But don't give boring dares. You lot suck," Draco said.
"Okay, I'll start. Hermione. Truth or dare," I asked her. She took a minute to think about it. "Hmm... truth," she said. I smirked. "Is it true that you have a crush on Ron?" I asked her, giggling.
Her jaw dropped, feeling offended that I asked her that. "Absolutely not! What a ridiculous question, next!" She said, her face turning red.
"Harry, truth or dare?" Hermione asked, as she turned to face him, waiting for his answer. "Dare! Challenge me," he said.
"Alright then, I dare you to eat a piece of the grass," she said. Ron and Draco started giggling, thinking he wouldn't do it.
Harry picked at a piece of grass and put it in his mouth and swallowed it. Our eyes widened, not truly believing it just yet.
He opened his mouth and lifted his tongue in all directions to prove that he really did, in fact, swallow the grass.
"Ugh! Disgusting..." Ron said, grossed out.
"Ron, you next. Truth or dare?"
"Hmm... truth," he answered. He felt confident in answering any question truthfully, knowing that he didn't have to do any crazy dare.
"Is it true that you are afraid of spiders?" He asked. A confused face formed on Ron's face. "Whaaat? No, absolutely not. Could never," Ron said, shaking his head.
Draco grabbed onto Ron's shoulders. "AHH A SPIDER! WATCH OUT," he yelled out. Ron immediately stood up and started brushing his shoulders.
We were all laughing so hard that our stomachs cramped.
"Whatever. Malfoy, truth or dare?" Ron said, sitting back down.
"Dare," Draco said with no hesitation.
"Alright. I dare you to kiss Y/n on the cheek."
Draco's face dropped as it immediately turned red. He refused to even look me in the eye.
"Scared, Malfoy?" Harry joked.
Draco shot a look at Harry. "Me? Scared?" Draco scoffed.
He slowly turned to face me. I played onto the joke and moved my hair behind my ear, revealing my left cheek.
I leaned closer to him.He slowly pecked my cheek and sat back down. His face was redder than ever.
"DRACO AND Y/N SITTING IN A TREE," Ron and Harry sang.
"K-I-S-S-I-N-G," Hermione finished.
I threw a napkin ball at Harry. "Shut up!" I said, my face now being red.
I looked at Draco and he looked back at me and gave a small smile.
I returned the smile. I felt a warm feeling, and now suddenly feel nervous around Draco. But the good kind of nervous...
