Patton accepts Prince Logan's offer, though reluctantly. The duo leave Patton's shop, Patton locking the doors behind him.
"You don't have to do all of this."
"Of course I do! First of all, you're the best healer that I know. Second of all, you are not only a person in my kingdom but also someone I've come to consider my friend. You deserve to have justice, so I will make sure that whoever did this to you and potentially Virgil will be punished."
"Once again, you don't have to do that. I'm okay with dealing with it. It happens a lot so I've gotten used to it. But I do usually have Virgil to help me out. I wonder where he is..." Patton muses.
"We shall look for him later, for now I want to help you."
                              "T-thanks."
                              "My pleasure Sire Patton."
After Patton got fixed up, the duo walked out of the shop with Patton able to see much better without the shatters in the glass. Now, Patton can take a lot of walking as they generally aren't allowed transportation unless it's for their job, a job like Katherine's. But Patton worries that Logan will not want to walk, so the shorter pays two dokes for a horse to a housekeeper. He helps Logan onto the saddled part of the horse, then jumps on behind Logan on the part of the horse's back that doesn't have a saddle on it.
"Don't fall off. I don't want to be hated for hurting a prince too." Patton smiles towards Logan.
                              "I won't fall."
Patton smiles and nods, kicking the horse into a gallop. Soon the horse is going through the village at full speed. Logan slips a few times, but Patton is able to catch him before he falls off of the horse. WIthin minutes the two arrive at Virgil's shop. Patton gets off and helps the prince get off. Logan thanks Patton and they jog to the locked door.
"Do you have a way in?" Logan asks the shorter, jiggling the doorknob.
"Virgil gave me an extra key for emergencies," Patton nods, grabbing the extra key from his pocket. He unlocks the door and closes it behind Logan. Logan's eyes fall onto a scene that makes his stop for a moment. The healer doesn't notice what the prince is looking at until he turns around.
The lays Virgil... On the ground. Having a panic attack.
Patton rushes to him, Logan following close behind him.
"Did you get attacked too?" The blonde asks.
"Y-yeah." Virgil's voice is shaky and low.
"Did anything get stolen or broken?"
                              "J-just a fe-few potions bottles. N-n-nothing is stolen."
"What potions?" Patton asks, worry evident in his voice while he speaks.
"Nausea and sleep. They both got on me."
Patton looks to Logan, "Your Highness, rub circles into his back please. If he is up to it, I'm sure he will tell you what I'm worried about. I'll be back." Logan nods and Patton rushes into Virgil's practice room. Logan offers a reassuring smile to the witch while he rubs Virgil's back, not quite sure how to calm the man down. Meanwhile, Patton rushes around, looking for the remedies, grabbing two potions bottles.
"Are you willing to tell me about Patton's panic?"
Virgil takes a deep breath, "I had nausea and sleep potion splashed onto me. When mixed, you can either get eternal sleep or a week of terrible sickness. The mixtures are unstable and unpredictable as far as I know." Logan nods, remaining calm.
Soon Patton comes out with the remedies, and hands both to Virgil. The witch drinks a small amount of both of the mixtures, Logan helping him sit up all the way as well as drinking the potions. Patton immediately starts to mop the potion mixes and put things away.
                              "I got attacked too, Virge."
"It was probably because of me, wasn't it? I'm sorry." Patton immediately drops the mop he was holding and rushes over to Virgil, giving him a hug after Logan moves away.
"No need to feel guilty. Or be sorry. People just don't understand what a wonderful person you are! Stupid King William."
"My father is indeed moronic. We shall have this all figured out, but I'm going to need both of your help." Logan stands, standing up solemnly. He wipes his hands on his pants and looks to the two men on the ground.
Virgil and Patton nod, "Yes, your Highness."
Logan laughs, it's low and gentle (something that makes Virgil's heart flutter), "How many times do I have to tell you both? Just call me Logan."
"Sorry. We've never really known royalty other than your brother. And even then he hated me and VIrgil could only call him Roman when he was in a good mood."
"Silly boy," Logan says, shaking his head. He helps the boys up, "Do either of you remember what the people look like?" Patton shakes his head, but Virgil looks down.
"I was too busy panicking, but I did set up a staff as a camera type thing. This happens often." Virgil says, grabbing a staff leaning against a wall. He taps the shining jewel in the middle a few times and casts a spell silently.
A projection appears in a large image against the wall. Three people walk in and start terrorizing the place.
"Phillip. Phoebe. And..." Logan starts, pausing when he doesn't recognize the third person.
"Allura." Virgil finishes for Logan. The prince's face dusts with a pink tint. The witch continues, "Her father was a witch, and she started learning but gave up on it once the rumors spread around. She believed that witches attacked the king and went against us." The man drops the staff on the ground.
Logan nods sympathetically at Virgil, "Well then, I will more than happily have them punished for these acts. Would you two wish to see the punishments?"
"How? I can't be in the castle. I'm banned."
"Correct. We shall do it in the town center. That way, Roman can watch his little boyfriend be punished for attacking his amazing ex." Logan smiles. Virgil's cheeks turn pink, but his pale makeup helps mask the colouration.
                              "Alright." The two others nod.
"I will send a horse for the both of you at the crack of dawn. You should be the first ones there."
Patton looks to Virgil, both of them nodding before Patton looks back to Logan, "That works for the both of us."
"Alright. I shall take my leave for the night. Salutations and stay safe."
"Bye!" Patton calls, turning to Virgil- who hummed a goodbye- and squeals, "Virge! You like him!"
"No, I don't. I'm not sure what you're talking about Pat."
"You do! I saw you blush!"
                              "I did not."
                              "You so did."
"Fine, I did. Now leave so I can finish cleaning up. I bet your place is also a mess."
"Oh yeah!" Patton nods, remembering what he left behind, "I'll go clean then. Good luck!" With that, the energetic healer leaves with a skip in his step. The door closes behind him and Virgil rolls his eyes, a fond smile gracing his face, before he grabs the mop that Patton dropped and finishes cleaning up.

FanfictionThis is just a bunch of oneshots I wrote that aren't horribly cringe from mulitple fandoms, or even books that I started writing but don't have the motivation to finish. I'm just throwing this out there bc I want to clean up my drafts a bit.
