July 31st, Thursday morning. Almost everyone was outside setting up Bill and Fleur's wedding. The tent's were being pitched, people were laughing. Everything seemed normal. Hermione watches out the window fiddling with the ring on her necklace. Soon she could see a man walking up to the house, second's later Ginny and Lavender walked into the bedroom. Hermione looked at them, "Who is that?

"Just go downstairs.", Ginny replied

Hermione walks down the stairs and into the living room to see Harry and Ron sitting on the couch. They look up at her, the man sitting in front of them turns around and looks at her. Hermione nods to him, "Good morning Minister."

"Good Morning Ms. Granger, please have a seat."

Hermione sits in between Harry and Ron. Harry then clear his throat, "To what do we owe the pleasure Minister?"

"I think we both know the answer to that question Mr. Potter.", he then sets down a package onto the coffee table.

Ron looks down at it, "This is?"

The minister gives him an annoyed look for being impatient. He then pulls out a piece of paper and throws it into the air, where it floats. The paper then opens and the Minister leans over to being reading off of it, "Here in his set forth, the last will and testament of Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore. First, to Ronald Billious Weasley, I leave my deluminator, a device of my own making. In the hope that when things seem most dark, it will show him the light."

The Minster hands Ron the deluminator, he looks at it, then looked back at the Minister, "Dumbledore left this to me?"

"Yeah."

"Brilliant... What is it?" He then pushes the button and watch as the device captures light from two nearby lamps. He then presses it again, and the light returns to where it came from. He then smiles, "Wicked."

The Minister smiles at Ron, then continues to read, "To Hermione Jeanne Granger, I leave my copy of 'The Tales of Beedle The Bard'. In the hope she find it entertaining and instructive."

He hands her the book and Ron smiles, "Mum use to read me those. The Wizard in the Hopping Pot, Babbity Rabbity and the Cackling Stump." He looks at Hermione and Ron who look at him completely confused. Ron scoffs, "Oh come on, Babbity Rabbity! No?"

The Minister clears his throat, "To Harry James Potter, I leave the snitch he caught in his first Quidditch match at Hogwarts as a reminder of the rewards of perseverance  and skill." He slowly hands the snitch to him with a cloth.

Hermione watches eagerly, not knowing what the snitch will do. Harry grabs the snitch and smiles at it. Almost simultaneously, Hermione and the Minister sigh in disappointment as the snitch did nothing. Harry then looked up, "Is that it then?"

"Not quite, Dumbledore left you a second bequest, the Sword of Godric Gryffindor. Unfortunately,   the Sword of Godric Gryffindor was not Dumbledore's to give away. As an important historical artifact, it belongs to-"

"To Harry." Hermione interrupter, "it belongs to Harry, it came to him when he most needed it in the Chamber of Secrets.."

"The sword may present itself to any worthy Gryffindor Ms. Granger, it does not make it that wizard's property. And, in any event, the current whereabouts of the sword are unknown."

"Excuse me?", Harry asks in disbelief

"The sword is missing. I don't know what you're up to Mr. Potter... But, you can't fight this war on your own. He's too strong."

With that, the Minister got up and said some pleasantries with Arthur and Molly before leaving. Hermione looked at her new book and smiled at it. Ron then chuckles, "Of course he would leave you another book."

"Shut up Ron." Hermione sighed while rolling her eyes. She them walks off to her room to read her new book.

The next day was the day of Bill and Fleur's wedding. Hermione is standing at the window, watching wizards apparat in, she sighs. Lavender then clears her throat, "Hermione... do you think this dress looks good?" Hermione turned around and looked at Lavender, for once she didn't have some bow in her hair. She wore a pink flowy dress that went down to her knees. Hermione smiled, "You look beautiful... Ron is a lucky guy."

"Thank you... I'm sorry I was so annoying at Hogwarts..."

"No, I'm sorry. You're just a bubbly person."

"I use to be." she looks down to the ground.

Hermione walks up to her and hugs her, "Don't loose who you really are Lavender. You are a beautiful and amazing woman. Don't ever forget that."

Lavender hugs her back before pulling away, "Thank you."

With that she walked out. Ginny was helping Fleur get ready somewhere else in the house, Hermione was now all alone in the bedroom and had to pick out what to wear. She walks over to her purse and pulled out some dresses. Took her a bit to find some, she always kept her purse packed and ready just in case they were found.  She looks down to the wedding dress hair clip and smiles, she then decides to dress in a nice yellow dress. It was long sleeved, of course, open back and flowy, all the way down to the floor, but not too much where it dragged.

She puts the dress on and smiles while looking at it. She then puts on some silver strap heels and silver waterfall earrings. She starts packing her bag back up, just in case. She then grabs the ring around her neck, she missed Severus. She thought of writing him a quick note, everyone was busy, they wouldn't notice. So she grabs a piece of parchment and a quill and writes away,

Severus,

My dear, how I miss you. Right now I am at the Weasley house. Ron's older brother gets married today. How I wish you were here so you could accompany me. I miss our dances. I wanted to let you know I am alright. I love you.

Yours Always,

Hermione Snape

She smiles at it then folds it up, she finds an owl and gives it treats, "Sneak out ok?" The owl flies away quietly, not bringing any attention to it.

That night, the wedding is thriving. Hermione walks in and smiles at the party. She could see Ron and Lavender were sitting down talking to each other and that Harry was off talking to some old people. She hakes her head, 'He can never just take a break.'

All of the sudden a bright blue ball falls into the middle of the wedding, everyone back away from it except Arthur. Hermione grabs onto her purse off the nearby table and holds onto her necklace. Arthur approaches the ball and it speaks, "The ministry has fallen. The Minister of Magic, is dead. They're coming. They are coming." it then disappears. Everyone starts to panic. Hermione holds her dress up as she runs towards Ron, who is kissing Lavender. Lavender is crying, "No don't leave me!"

"I love you so much Lavender, stay with mum and dad ok? I will come back for you I promise."

Hermione grabs onto Ron, "We need to get Harry now."

Ron kisses Lavender one last time before running off with Hermione to find Harry. All the sudden death eaters appear and start attacking the crowd. Hermione keeps pulling onto Ron's arm until the finally find Harry. She pulls the two boys by the arms in and evaporate the three of them into the middle of the London streets, having to pull them up to a fence before being ran over by a bus.

Hermione starts to lead Ron and Harry through the city almost crying. Was it her fault, because of her letter to Snape? She held back her tears as she stomped through the city.
