My Double Agent

Chapter 26 ~ Rescued

Draco and Astoria run into the main hall throwing open a door, "STOP!" screams Draco. He looks over at Scabior leaning over Hermione's body. Astoria looks up at Draco in tears, "Save her! You know what he does!"

Draco runs over shoving Scabior to the side and looking at Hermione, "Hermione... are you ok?"

Hermione starts crying and leans up hugging Draco, causing him to sit with her and hold her. Astoria soon runs over and sits with them, "Shh... it's going to be ok Hermione..."

Draco looks up at Bellatrix, "What the hell do you think you are doing?!"

Bellatrix looks at him shocked, "Me! You disrespectful- What do you think you're doing protecting a mudblood!" She turns and looks at Lucius and Narcissa, "Is that how you raise your son, my nephew?!"

Lucius shakes is head, "Of course not! I had no idea he befriended her!"

Narcissa looks at Draco and speaks calmly, "What's going on Draco?"

Draco looks into his mother's kind eyes, "She's a Death Eater like us, It was kept a secret."

Bellatrix snarls, "No! Our Lord tells me everything!"

Draco shakes his head, "Not this time Aunt. Only Astoria, Severus, and I knew."

Scabior froze, "Severus... so she really does know Snape? Well, why didn't she say anything?!"

"Our Lord told her to keep quiet."

Bellatrix scoffs, "Why would she call out for him anyway, why not you?"

"Because she is his wife."

The room went silent. Everyone stared at the three. Astoria helps Hermione to stand up, "Come on, let's get you cleaned up. She then helps Hermione out of the room. 

Draco stands up and looks at the blood on his sleeve, he looks at his aunt concerned, "What did you do to her?!" He then runs after Astoria and Hermione to follow them upstairs.

Hermione is standing in the middle of a restroom with Astoria who is helping her undress. Astoria then helps her weigh into a warm bath. Hermione was still trying to calm  down. Astoria sighed sadly, "This is going to hurt, but I need to clean this.." she slowly starts to wash her arm that Bellatrix carved into. Hermione yelped in pain and looked away. 

Soon knocking came from the door, "Is she ok?"

"Don't come in, she isn't dressed." Astoria replied

"Fine,  but is she ok?!" Draco asked again.

Astoria sighed, "She isn't dying, but your aunt did a number on her arm Draco, it's horrible.

"What did she do?"

Astoria starts to tear up, "I don't even want to say.."

"I have to know, I'm coming in." 

Astoria draped a big towel over Hermione's tub, so all you could see where from Hermione shoulders up. Draco walks in as Astoria continued to clean Hermione's wound. Hermione looked away from Draco, ashamed of herself. Draco looked at her arm and read the word, he instantly was fueled with rage, "How dare she..."

Astoria grabs onto Draco's hand and shakes her head, "Not in here please, I think she's dealt with enough for today."

Draco looks up at Hermione concerned, "Where is your wand?"

Hermione spoke in a shaky voice, "Harry has it, I broke his wand, so he's had to borrow mine."

Draco nods, "Ok, I'll leave you two alone. Astoria, take care of her."

Astoria nods, "I will." 

They share a kiss before Draco leaves, closing the door behind him. Astoria looks back at Hermione, "I'm done cleaning your arm. I'm going to find you some clothes, and get you some food. Stay here. I'll have Draco stay outside the door ok?"

Hermione looks at Astoria, "Please don't leave me alone..."

Astoria nods then opens the door, "Draco..."

"Yeah."

"She needs clothes and food... but she doesn't want to be left alone, would you please go get some clothes for her?"

"Yeah sure."

Astoria then closes the door as he walks away. She turns back to Hermione who is now looking at her arm, she slowly slides her finger over the word. Astoria sat by her and grabbed her hand, "Don't touch it."

Hermione looks up at Astoria with teary eyes, "I want Severus."

Astoria nods, "We'll get him here as fast we can. Voldemort keeps him really busy though."

Hermione nods and looks down. A knock came at the door and Draco slipped back in, "Ok, here are some clothes I could find. I have a house elf making some food.

Draco hands the clothes to Astoria and smiles softly towards Hermione. Astoria nods, "Ok thank you, now get out so she can get dressed."

Draco nods and leaves, standing outside the door. Astoria sets the clothes down and looks at Hermione, "Would you like any help?"

"Do me a favor..."

"Sure."

"Check if I'm pregnant."

Astoria froze but then nods, she took her wand out and held it over Hermione's stomach. She then smiles, "You're not."

Hermione smiles and starts crying again. Astoria smiles, "Do you need any help getting dressed?"

Hermione shakes her head, "No, thank you. I'll be fine."

Astoria nods, "We'll be in the room when you're done."

Hermione nods and Astoria leaves the restroom. When she turns around she sees Draco is prepping the bed, Astoria starts to help him, "She wants Severus."

"I'll go see him while she rests."

"Good, I'm going to stay with her until then."

"I was going to ask if you would."

Astoria smiles at Draco, soon the door opens and they both look over at Hermione. Astoria walks over, "Let me help you into bed."

Hermione nods and slowly gets into bed. Draco and Astoria sit on opposite sides of the bed and tuck her in. Hermione looks up at Draco, "Would  you go get Severus for me? I really need him."

Draco nods, "I already planned on getting him while you slept. Astoria is going to stay here and watch over you while you sleep, ok?

Hermione nods then turns to Astoria, opening her blanket, "Will you sleep in the bed with me? I'll feel better with someone I trust next to me."

Astoria nods and gets under the covers letting Hermione lean into her arms. Astoria looks up at Draco, "Go ahead, I got this."

Draco leans over and kisses Astoria then Hermione on the forehead, "I'll be back soon." 

Hermione and Astoria nod as he walks out the door and locks it behind him. Hermione soon falls asleep in Astoria's arms as Astoria played with Hermione's hair.

Draco starts walking to the fireplace to go see Severus when he is stopped by Scabior, "Look, I had no idea, ok? Can we not tell him what I did?"

Draco glares at the man and shoves him, "Get out of my face! You should be ashamed of yourself! You disgust me! I will tell him everything. And I can promise you, If I find out you did anything else to her, I will kill you myself!"

Scabior looks up at Draco in fear as Draco turns away and burns up into the fireplace, arriving in Severus's office at Hogwarts.
