A few days later, Hermione hears a knock on her door. She had locker herself away, too ashamed to see Harry or Ron. "Who is it?", she said very quietly.
"It's me." A soft yet curious voice replied.

"Come in."

The door opens slowly as Luna peaked her head into the room, "I brought you some water and soup." Hermione just nods in response. Luna closes the door behind her and walks up to Hermione, she sets the cup of water and soup down onto her bedside table and took a seat at the foot of the bed, "Hermione, I must speak to you about something urgently."

"It's all my fault Luna, Harry and Ron are going to hate me one day. Ginny and... even you."

"I could never hate you Hermione."

Hermione's eyes swelled up with tears, she turns and looks at Luna, "What did you want to talk about?"

"I got a letter from Astoria yesterday asking if you were alive and well."

Hermione smiled for the first time in days, "She did? Is she and Draco ok? Did she say anything about Severus?"

Silence fell in the room. Hermione looks at Luna hopeful and then, once she realized what she had said, her face turned to fear. Luna's expression didn't look mad, confused, or sad. Just curious, as always, "Do you want me to ask her?"

"Wait- why aren't you questioning me right now?"

"Hermione- I saw your other arm the moment you were thrown into the cell. But by the way you were acting, I knew you and Astoria were the same. As for the Severus statement, I am a little curious why you would be concerned with our professor. Unless it has something to with the fact that you refuse to take off the engagement ring you got from your... father."

"You- you're very good at reading people."

"Is he your husband?"

Hermione slowly nods, afraid of what will happen next. Luna nodded and smiled, "Hermione Snape. Sounds cute."

"Shh! Harry and Ron don't know. Please don't tell them!"

Luna tilts her head, "Why not tell him?"

"Not only is that dangerous for Harry but it's dangerous for me as well."

Luna sighs, "I won't say anything then. If you truly think it's for the best. I will write back to Astoria informing her what happened. Let her know that everyone but Dobby made it."

"Thanks."

"Harry really needs your help in the living room though."

Before Hermione could say anything, Luna walks out of the room. Hermione sighs and looks at the soup and smiles. She eats her soup and drinks her water before bringing them down tot he kitchen herself. Fleur smiled when she noticed Hermione, "You're up! Good, do you feel better?"

"Yes, thank you for your hospitality."

"Of course- go ahead into the living room. The boys are in there."

Hermione nods and stands in the doorway looking at Ron and Harry. Ron looks at Harry and hold's up Hermione's book, , "Mate, I'm telling you that man was crazy. This story didn't explain anything to us."

"That's why we need Hermione to read it. If anyone will understand it, it would be her."

Hermione cleared her throat, "You found my purse?"

Ron and Harry jumped up and looked at her. Ron walked over to her and handed her her purse, "The Goblin found it. We were told the book Dumbledore gave you would be helpful."

"Why are you here Ron? I thought you hated us."

Silence fell upon the room. Harry sat down on the couch with a cup of tea and took a sip. Ron cleared his throat and looked to the floor in shame, "I'm sorry. The horcrux was making me think things were happening when they weren't. I couldn't control my thought or feelings, you know?"

Hermione frowns and looks at Harry before looking away shamefully, "Yes- I know..."

"Harry told me."

Hermione looked at Harry, "WHAT?!"

Harry stood up, "He deserved to know."

Hermione shook her head, "I was fine with you telling Ginny, Not Ron!"

"He's traveling with us Hermione! We can't keep secrets from each other! Now more then ever!"

Hermione eyes well up and looks at Ron and Harry upset, "That's not fair! This involves me Harry! You should've asked me first! I'm not comfortable with Ron knowing that I've been with you!"

"Hermione, it's fine-"

"No it wasn't right!" and with that Hermione ran off to her room crying. She slammed the door behind her. She hated life at this moment. She wished she was back with Severus. She looks at her engagement/wedding ring. She then remembers something. She runs over to her purse and rummages through intently. Soon she found what she was looking for, her barrette. Well, her wedding dress. Hermione put it into her hair then laid down onto the bed to go to sleep.

The next morning, Astoria woke up to her owl tapping on her window. She runs over and reads it. Her eyes well up as she hugs the letter she turns and looks at Draco who is already leaned up in bed looking at her, waiting for her answer. Astoria nods, "She's alive. Bellatrix killed Dobby. No one else was hurt. And Hermione is asking how we are doing." Draco and Astoria laugh in relief that Hermione is safe and well. Then a moment of silence for Dobby. Draco then cleared his throat and spoke, "I know my father mistreated Dobby. I didn't know him well myself, but I remember being little and being so jealous that my own house elf, liked Harry Potter more then me. Dobby was a good elf. I'm sorry he had such a hurtful ending."

Astoria nodded, "You want to tell Severus?"

Draco nodded, "Yeah I'll go now." He stands up and get's changed before kissing Astoria goodbye. He walks through their fireplace and ends up in Severus's office. Severus is at his desk in a black robe petting Crookshanks, "Do you ever sleep?"

"Any word?"

"She's alive."

Severus paused for a moment and started to sob. He picks up Crookshanks and hugs the cat, "She's alive- she's ok."

Draco smiles, "Still weird seeing you happy."

Severus put the cat down and smirks, "Watch yourself-"

They share a laugh and Severus walks over, "Tea?"

"Sure."
